Today was just a long day of travel but now we're sitting next to each other on our laptops. :D Her on Shoon and me on Jaebaby.

I'm excited for marksykins' wedding.




And I'm trying not to do too much Fanime stuff. It's a vacation! almost

I'm home now and am fighing off the remnants of this cold I picked up while flouncing around three or four states with MousaPi, Beth, Marksy, and Clare.


Time to go back to work. It was nice not having to think about stress for a while.

I AM ALIVE. :D AND IN NEW ORLEANS AND I SURVIVED MARDI GRAS!!!!

It's been a blast so far! I AM WITH ISO!!!!! She is so adorable and awesome and teeeeeeny and so flaily and awesome!

I arrived in New Orleans in the middle of the night due to my flights being delayed all evening. I then caught about 3 hours of sleep before waking up to get ready for Mardi Gras madness in New Orleans. SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I can't even begin to describe how much fun it is. It's so much like Halloween in the Castro but in the daytime or like the Gay Parade in San Francisco except without all the throwing of beads.

I'm having such a blast here and being with Iso and meeting her wonderful friends is just making this experience so wonderful! It's been fantastic and Mardi Gras was everything I expected and more! I totally want to come back again with some great friends and just have a grand time. :D

So excited that I can't really sleep yet. Plus, I should update smsummary. :D

Wheeee! Life is good right now! Bestest, Anti-Superbowl party tomorrow, MARDIS GRAS WITH ISO on Tuesday, Chinese/Vietnamese New Year on Thursday (but family celebration may be on Saturday!), and my week is PACKED.

BUT I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Weekend was a mixture of awesome things and things that made me flail a lot. Wine parties, family, Fanime, new phone, being lazy in bed, sleeping in, playing with fat babies, and just generally having a good time.

THURSDAY. I'm flying out to Seattle to visit wifey, Elise, and Clare! There will be MUCH squee going on and a lot of fangirling. Perhaps a game of Three Sheets to the w-inds.. So many possibilities for TROUBLE whenever Tabs and I are in the same room. If she ever wakes up early enough. *shifty eyes*

I have a sexy new cell phone! It's a Blackberry Pearl and very sleek and slim. I tend to like tiny phones and this was the smallest of all the PDAs/Smartphones with my current carrier. :D I'm getting used to it and I have nifty ringtones! It's currently switched between Pinky or Konayuki. I haven't decided yet. Also, I'm thinking of naming my new phone either "Angelina-chan" or "poke-shige-dex". What do you guys think?

I've been eating a lot more things with sugar lately and it's been keeping me AWAKE really late at night. D: I think it's time to cut it all out again. That wedding is creeping closer plus I get super sick if I eat too much sugar. Like half a slice of cake.

You guys, I'm really and totally in love with Jaejoong. He's so adorable. *flails* I am really excited about DBSK's new album even if I paid a lot of money for it. I can't wait to listen to it! *flails*

I keep thinking I need a wardrobe update. :| Maybe I'll update my shoes.

I need to reply to all those comments on my stories. *gets lazy butt into gear*

Also, in that same vein, I did the WIP meme on my other journal. Feel free to poke and prod for one for me to finish.

There is so much for me to do and I feel like there's very little time. This, in turn, makes me feel like I am not devoting enough time to talking to my friends and continue to develop the friendships. I miss talking to everyone on AIM.

Back home in the Bay Area again. It was a whirlwind trip of utmost fun!

I stepped into Beverly Hills Center about a half an hour after arriving in LA and just thought to myself, "YUP. I am most definitely in LA." Surrounding by skinny twigs with lots of makeup and super fashionable attire, I was a bit out of place with my laptop and laidback attitude. But whatever. :D I hung out at the coffee shop, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which we don't have up in Nor. Cal. but it had free wi-fi which I took advantage for a few hours.

I panicked and flailed over my je_holiday before meeting up with lilkimmiebaby and heading out to the bridal shop to try on dresses for veilsdegto's wedding! We worked everything out and bought the dresses! Three bridesmaid dresses was equal to the cost of one of the THREAD dresses veilsdegto had originally wanted. :Dv But we're all happy with it and that's the important thing.

Met up with seshat, sakon76, and kazuhiko04 along with my gracious host & hostess for the night for dinner! It was lovely and I think I broke kazuhiko04's brian while showing sakon76 the Eito Renja skit. *___* EITOOOO RENJAAAA!!!!! I love how it's all tokusatsu style in boyband form. :Dv

The next day was a fandom sort of day with lots of flailing, dorking around, shopping at Kinokuniya, rockin' out to NewS or KAT-TUN, glee at the Kanjani8 photobook, me FLAILING over the w-inds. photobook, lots of hugging and thug poses or EITO RENJA poses, and giggling. Because you can't have 5 girls hanging out withOUT lots of giggling. Not possible. Nope. But I had a blast with karinberry (who was an absolute doll and so fun and cool and took me to the airport!), ilanabean42 (who is cute and adorable and laughs at my flaily self), her sister (who is cool and into cosplay and so I may try to get her to come up for Fanime!), and saturnianlove (who is cute and adorable and huggable and squishy and my "gangsta-poser-or-tongue-out-like-jin"-partner in silly pictures). :D

I was really sad to part ways with them. D: NEXT TIME, y0, we are gonna do karoake, y/y?!

But it was a good trip and I am going back next May for the bridal shower. :D wheeeee!

Now it is POLL TIME for my JE-flisters! This is just to GAUGE interest. Nothing's concrete and I don't even know if I am gonna plan it or if someone else wants to plan it because you know, I'm a nobody in the fandom and I'd rather hang out with people I talk to on my flist because y'all are coolbeans and I wouldn't read your entries if I think y'all were CREEP (and not the cute Subaru!Creep either!)

So, shinigamitabris & lady_gemma are flying in early so we can kidnap halffling for a much needed, glass breaking, I mean arashiangel, shabzilla, & hikaruchi will be able to hear us in London, yes it's that high pitch! w-inds. squee fest. Probably in San Francisco. Since I like my house to have all its windows in tact. ;[]v

Then, shinigamitabris, lady_gemma, and I will join rightsock, damiri, sandpanther on a plane (and we will smile and wave in the general vicinity of seshat and yzo who are leaving before us and are on different flights) to head over to Tokyo.

Hopefully by the end of the night after touching ground in Japan, we will be all snug and comfortable in our hotel in KYOTO. Stop calling me mean, sandpanther!!!! DDDDDD: Just because I am making you come with to the hotel and not stay in Tokyo to watch your crack show at 5:30pm but I will come to a shopping trip with you to find the shiny, shiny crack.

We'll be heading back to the States on tax day. So a reminder to everyone going to get those pesky things done beforehand!

But OMG!!!! *BOUNCES* WE ARE GOING TO JAPAN!!!!! FWHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I am now in Alabama at teh wifey's place! And I have shiny Ryohei laptop on my lap!!!! *cuddles him* I'm also sitting here surrounded by hot w-inds. posters, books, magazines, con goods, and candy!!!! XD

Work was a shitty, shitty time so I am ever so glad to get away from it and be on vacation! The plane rides weren't so bad. But I just slept on and off. And my arse hurt from the seats. American Airlines' seats aren't as comfy as Southwest or JetBlue. Or maybe that's just my experience.

But everything arrived okay, even the wine and ramune bottles. XD

OH. And I tried Tabris' sweet tea and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH BOY is it sweet for this chick. I love tea and I tend to drink it without anything unless it's super strong, then it gets some honey. I love desserts and all that but I prefer my cakes not to be too sweet and I take the icing off. So maybe that explains my look of "OMG!!! TOO SWEET!" that she took with my camera.

Anyways, it's nearly 3:30am here and my body thinks it's 1:30am PST. So off to bed we go. We're going to hit up Nashville tomorrow. Any suggestions?
