Thank you for all the well wishes! They made me smile gleefully.

Life as a married dame has been uneventful so far. It's still a bit strange to call him my husband or any cute variant of the title (my current favourite is "hubmeister") but we're slowly getting used to it. We do the usual social stuff like birthday parties and family dinners. But I love hanging out with my family and friends.

So far, I've been sleeping a lot lately and just enjoying a slightly slower pace for this cool summer as well as all the delicious summer fruits.

Also, I am now 15 weeks pregnant.

It's not news that I've been really busy. I've been working on lots of things! But hooray for bullet heart points!

♥ FanimeCon's first musical guest was announced last week! If you haven't checked out Matsushita Yuya's music, check it out! He has some really catchy tunes and nice dance moves!

♥ Work has been really busy. I'm learning lots of coding stuff. Enough to make me dizzy!

♥ FanimeCon has occupied a good chunk of my free time. But I love meeting days in that I get to see everyone and hang out. I like feeling that we're all working to make a great convention and that we care about what we are doing.

♥ Lent! I've decided to give up refined white sugar, meat, and negativity! I think the last one is the hardest but the Lenten season, to me, is about sacrifice and self-improvement! I think there's been a lot of negativity in my life recently and I'm dwelling way too much on it. I'm just going to accept it and push forward with optimisim.

♥ The fiance and I are doing well! Wedding plans are going slow since I'm sort of planning on some major events at a big anime convention.

♥ I've started working out again! Gotta fit into MY wedding dress for MY wedding!!! Heee, I enjoy writing that.

♥ I learned how to make French Macarons. Mmmmm. Sweet and delicious. I need to practice making more.

♥ I want to have pretty nails like snowqueenofhoth and mousapelli but....precious time! D: Maybe I can schedule time to do it into my schedule....

♥ Fiance is addicted to Rick Steves' travel shows. He has it on while working. lol.

♥ I got an Android phone! I miss shigedex's (a blackberry curve) buttons. This touchscreen thing is sort of not handy when I am trying to find things without looking at the phone. D: But the apps are shiny.

♥ My hair is getting longer and I really want to cut it super short but I also want to keep it semi-long for the wedding. And I don't really like cutting off my long hair without being able to donate it to Locks of Love. So I'm just making D: faces at it right now. I will probably chop it short after the wedding (WHICH IS HAPPENING NEXT YEAR) but for now tiny trims is all I can satisfy myself with.

So I forgot to write and say that I'm taking a long holiday (well, only 2 weeks worth) in Europe.

Things are fairly stable at home so the BF and I went ahead with our Eurotrip.

I know I'm usually super busy but this is seriously insane.

~ Work has amped up it's crazy.
~ I've been working out a lot to try and look good for a wedding.
~ Daylights Saving is screwing me out of an hour of work/sleep/panic time.
~ going crazy with the insane amt of work I have to do before the end of the week for FanimeCon.
~ Prepping for Anime Los Angeles.
~ One more. One more month and I hope this crazy rollercoaster stops. I hope it goes away forever and we don't have to go through this again. My fingers are crossed and I'm stressing/praying/hoping so hard.
~ the bf and I are doing good.
~ I'm sad I have no time to do online things.
~ Finally heard the new w-inds. album, Another World. I ♥ it with a passion!!!! SO MUCH.
~ I'm craving a creme brulee.

♥ It's almost Valentine's Day and I just wanted to let you, my wonderful flist, know that I ♥ you!

♥ BF is sick again. This time with a head cold. I'm trying really hard not to catch it while nursing him back to health. What is it with guys being the biggest baby when sick?!

♥ Snow. I ain't got none. Sorry, east coasters. You stole all the snow from Vancouver.

♥ Speaking of Vancouver, I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE WINTER OLYMPICS. MY FAVORITE TIME. Figure Skating, HALF PIPE, Speed Skating. YES.

♥ Homemade baked tortilla chips with guacamole. OM NOM NOM NOM.

♥ Lunar New Year is the same day as Valentine's Day. So this weekend, I spent all day Saturday with BF and his mommy. In Chinatown. Doing what BF & I jokingly call "Chinese Wife Training" aka follow his mom all around Chinatown and learn how to shop like an old Chinese lady.

♥ I'm hopeless addicted to Gardening Mama on the DS. Send help. Or some giant strawberries.

♥ Stay tuned for an announcement on Valentine's Day for FanimeCon's MusicFest! I'm super excited. :D

My legs hurt.

I did a 7 mile hike through a redwoods reserve. Walked along a cute creek in lots of mud, trees, water, banana slugs, and other things.

Now I'm exhausted but all of today's fics for jehols is up. :D

Right now, I just want a massage and sleep. Tomorrow is time enough for all the aching and the craving for more energy.

You know what?

Making candy is hard work and a lot of fun. And really messy.

I made Chocolate Coconut Balls, Oreo truffles, and Chocolate Cookie Dough and all my guinea pigs (THANKS, GUINEA PIGS!!! :D :D :D :D ) like them a lot.

I think I just found my favorite thing to give away at Christmas at the office. ;-)

Also....chocolate chips are my downfall in covering the candies. :/

It's been a while, hasn't it? I know I failed miserably with the picture series. I actually had enough for 3 days and then I became incredibly busy during FanimeCon that I kept forgetting to take a picture. Plus, I changed my outfits so often that I would forget what I wore.

Exhaustion was my name at the end of it all. Seriously. But things went really well and I'll try to type up something on the ride down to SLO to see etoilenoir959 "gradumacate" with her degrees.

For now, I'm in the middle of de-compressing from the last two months or so. Curling up for some dramas or Food Network sounds fantastic for the next few evenings.

But for now, excuse me. I've got a date with a pillow, some blankets, and my bed.

it really sucks when you're out having fun and being busy and all of sudden you just toss all your cookies.

i really hate throwing up.

too bad, i know that feeling way too intimately and totally involuntarily.

I'm here and having a lot of fun. :D I've seen a few panels, took some pictures, generally got lost in the convention center that Sakura-Con is held in. :D It's not raining so far but it's a bit chilly! Brrrr. Too bad I didn't bring a warmer coat!

Perhaps there will be pictures but I will have to steal them from my roommates!

Also, I'm amused that wifey has a fanclub. So cute! Her fangirls! :D Makes me a bit envious that I don't have any but that's okay. I don't want to get stalked! XD

But it's getting really late and the bed is calling my name!
