It's been a while since I last posted and trust me, things have been uber crazy! Epik High was amazing and lasted until almost midnight but the boys gave a fantastic show since they decided to kick it off in the Bay Area where Tablo, MYK, and KERO ONE are all from around here. Well, technically, Tablo's only lived here for at least 8 years. Old stomping grounds...:D

So now I'm on-site for Fanime. Yay for crazy times ahead! I'm going to get my nails done and then pick up [Bad username or site: mousapelli title=mousaPi @ livejournal.com] and Evan at the airport. :D

But before all that, I had mentioned that I was going to do A Week of Life...picture series!

Still alive here!

I wanted to talk about a few things, wrap up my crazy month of April, and talk about my crazier month of May.

But I'm back from New Jersey safely after missing my flight on Sunday. Got to see [Bad username or site: marksykins title=marksy @ livejournal.com] get hitched and nearly shed a tear or two. Got [Bad username or site: illumination title=Dichan @ livejournal.com] drunk. :Dv Ate some delicious food and had a blast with [Bad username or site: mousapelli title=mousaPi @ livejournal.com], [Bad username or site: longleggedgit title=Linds @ livejournal.com], [Bad username or site: illumination title=Dichan @ livejournal.com], and [Bad username or site: marksykins title=marksy @ livejournal.com]!

and then I came home and dived into a huge pile of Fanime emails.

but I have to run! As [Bad username or site: jackoweskla title=Koyamamamamama @ livejournal.com] put it, I'm currently dealing with swine-flu related misfortunes. :(

After trying to get a good buzz going at

marksykins' wedding for the first 9 drinks, I ended up getting smashed a half hour after 9 shots and the wedding at midnight, east coast time.

But at least I got

illuminations completely drunker than she's ever been.

A shot of Malibu Coconut Rum is pretty awful. Dichan had a shot of Bicardi Coconut, so I don't know how that tastes. All I know is that I'm pretty tipsy and Dichan's on the computer typing a million miles a minute.

Oh hey, look who is online again!? Yup. That's right. ME!!! *happy dance*

Which isn't to say that I haven't exactly been without internet connection since I last posted in the warm lobby of the Hilton Seattle where I was enjoying Sakura-Con with some fantastic friends and making new ones. I've had internet......on my blackberry (aka Shige-Dex). I just haven't had time to make a post!

Yo. I'm still here! Still busy! I'm frantically packing, procrastinating, packing, getting things together, packing for NEW ORLEANS to see ISO and JENY. OMG. I'm so excited! You have no idea how much running around I've done. I haven't checked LJ in ages and I feel so behind!!!

This means a long weekend of fun, laughter, ISO and JENY, bachelorette party madness, drinks galore, banana fosters at Brennan's, dinner at Palace Cafe, clubbing, dancing, girl talking, sexy dresses and fierce makeup, and a whole lotta fun.

Gotta finish packing, shower, and sleep before going in to work for a half day. I'm flying out at 2:30pm, so watch out for random text messages from me as I WILL BE STUCK in Vegas for 2 1/2 hours without interwebs. woe.

So many things that I've been meaning to write about!

I had something to say. Like how today is a new chapter in our history. That hope is springing from everyone during these really dark times and that we all need to hold together and stay strong to our ideals. That things will get better. Believe!

Or like how today was a ton of fun with Peyton & Liz & Daichi with dinner and karaoke. How it was fun to sing DBSK, JE, and w-inds. songs at the awesome Japanese karaoke. And that plans were made to drag MousaPi, Clare, Koyamamamama, & Shabz for a session or two whenever they come to see me. catface

But I'm sort of wrapped up in staring at Jaejoong. Who's so incredibly gorgeous in this picture.

I think I should start working on a Jaejoong pimp post as soon as this week's social festivities are over. *_________* Because everyone needs to love Jaejoong as much as I do.

Home from LA. Miss Karen and Kon-chan already. Sad I missed K & D at lunch. (Wah, I'm sorry!!!) I had a blast at this convention and it was fun doing something a bit less...stressful.

How did this year pass by so fast?

I'm still a bit boggled by how quickly time passed me by and that it probably all meant that I was too darn busy to notice! I was telling a few friends that I felt that I didn't accomplish very much this year. So I decided to do a Year in Review and to remind myself that I did accomplish a lot!

I combined it with that meme (Take the first sentence (or two) from the first post of each month of 2008. That's your year in review.)

Mmm...still in recovery from the crazy Halloween party, the fantastic time at the California Academy of Sciences, 6 hours of Killer Bunnies, and a day of being amazingly lazy (I even had a gourmet nap!) with sporatic cleaning.

I've resolved myself to try and blog every day this month for National Blogging Day but we all know how incredibly busy I tend to get, so we shall see how long I can last!

Also, I wanted to flail over the all the pamphlets I received from

snowqueenofhoth because OH MY GOD!!! How I love them so and aslkjf;alsfk I've been flipping through them all and just...a;skjf;alskjf I WISH I WAS THERE FOR EACH OF THE SHOW/CONCERT!!! Shige's solow show pamphlet is ridiculously big (as big as the Dream Boys 2008 pamphlets) and Nakamaru's cracks me up while Ueda's is so damn pretty. I may end up doing a list of pamphlets I have just to keep track of them all! *___* And Tsubasa's is amazing.

Okay, off to bed I go.

It's been a while since I've written a proper entry, ne

Fanime has come and passed

When it started, I was so nervous

I had lots of impact

butterflies in my tummy and I couldn't sleep

So anxious to make sure things went really well....that I forgot to eat. ._.;;

Running around and making sure things went smoothly was a common thing for me. My heart1

was full of hope that things won't go wrong and excitement

Because of the nature of my division, it was inevitable that I walked around a lot. A lot! So much time clock

walking. Clare-chan and I soaked our feet a lot. hotspring

But it was worth it! All my Dept. Heads performed their duties very seriously

Any emergencies were taken care of with great speed

I was very proud of my team. sparkles

Now that it's over, I am taking the chance to rest

While at Fanime, my tension was too high arrowup

and now that I had a chance to sleep sleepy

, my tension is gone! downarrow

But I am receiving feedback and some make me very happy catface

and others make me sad DD:

. I hope that next year, I will make things even more organized

But first, it's time for more sleep. sleepy

I AM ALIVE. :D AND IN NEW ORLEANS AND I SURVIVED MARDI GRAS!!!!

It's been a blast so far! I AM WITH ISO!!!!! She is so adorable and awesome and teeeeeeny and so flaily and awesome!

I arrived in New Orleans in the middle of the night due to my flights being delayed all evening. I then caught about 3 hours of sleep before waking up to get ready for Mardi Gras madness in New Orleans. SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I can't even begin to describe how much fun it is. It's so much like Halloween in the Castro but in the daytime or like the Gay Parade in San Francisco except without all the throwing of beads.

I'm having such a blast here and being with Iso and meeting her wonderful friends is just making this experience so wonderful! It's been fantastic and Mardi Gras was everything I expected and more! I totally want to come back again with some great friends and just have a grand time. :D
