Hellooooooo from Seattle!!!

I'm here and having a lot of fun. :D I've seen a few panels, took some pictures, generally got lost in the convention center that Sakura-Con is held in. :D It's not raining so far but it's a bit chilly! Brrrr. Too bad I didn't bring a warmer coat!

Perhaps there will be pictures but I will have to steal them from my roommates!

Also, I'm amused that wifey has a fanclub. So cute! Her fangirls! :D Makes me a bit envious that I don't have any but that's okay. I don't want to get stalked! XD

But it's getting really late and the bed is calling my name!

Home from Seattle now!!! :D

My hand is getting better but I am getting used to typing with my index finger and thumb on my right hand and my left hand. :/ But my fingers are still smarting. Especially since I forget and do something and the pain reminds me.

Seattle wasn't as cold as NYC but still, it was colder and wetter than where I live. Seattle reminds me a bit of San Francisco but with less fog and less hills. Still very pretty. As is Bellevue! :D

There was drinking (MAINLY

kenaressa AND I.) and lots of laughter! Wii bowling with gimp hand got me in last place but OH THE FUN. Also, the Space Needle is really cool and Pike Place Market is awesome. I still want fresh fish for breakfast, y0. *determined to go to Tsukiji Fish Market this summer* Also, I got a latte from the very first Starbuck's! Plus a pound of the Pike Place Blend that's only sold there for my dad. :D

We watched a lot of random clips and had a lot of fun! Ate some good food and I have fudge! I'm gonna bring it to share with everyone on Sunday night!

I think I left my blackberry cord thingy at wifey's place. Must get it back so I can upload all the pretty pictures I took with it!

Weekend was a mixture of awesome things and things that made me flail a lot. Wine parties, family, Fanime, new phone, being lazy in bed, sleeping in, playing with fat babies, and just generally having a good time.

I have a sexy new cell phone! It's a Blackberry Pearl and very sleek and slim. I tend to like tiny phones and this was the smallest of all the PDAs/Smartphones with my current carrier. :D I'm getting used to it and I have nifty ringtones! It's currently switched between Pinky or Konayuki. I haven't decided yet. Also, I'm thinking of naming my new phone either "Angelina-chan" or "poke-shige-dex". What do you guys think?

I've been eating a lot more things with sugar lately and it's been keeping me AWAKE really late at night. D: I think it's time to cut it all out again. That wedding is creeping closer plus I get super sick if I eat too much sugar. Like half a slice of cake.

I came home utterly exhausted but to the chants of "UCHI UCHI UCHI UCHI" from my non-HP, JE-luvin' flist and flailed in "UCHIUCHIUCHI" chat, so I will be ~~stalking~~ friending everyone from that as well as whomever wants to read my boring journal from Prophecy. *flails* Plus, seeing Ohmiya cuddle is adorably cute and I want fic! And then I read

pinkpapyrus's Uchi/Kanjani8 fic and I flailed some more.

The last 6 days have been fantastic. ♥

So on my break, I randomly did a search for Osaka and San Francisco (since they are sister cities and are celebrating 50 years of being sister cities) and found out that there are only three Japantowns in the United States. All which reside in CALIFORNIA: Japantown in San Francisco, Japantown in San Jose, and Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.

It was randomly interesting.

So I have access to two of the Japantowns in the nation. It sounds really cool and unique but sometimes, I wish that wasn't the case. Maybe because I live in an area that has many diverse ethnic groups and things are more readily available so I wouldn't probably consider very many places to move to. I remember talking to

shinigamitabris about it and how her and

lady_gemma were amazed at all the asian stores.

But then again, I was all :O over the cotton fields when I visited

shinigamitabris in Alabama.

Now I'm just rambling. ^_^ Almost time to go home and burn some of my pretty Japanese incense! ~~makes me wish I did get the w-inds. incense when we were at the concerts! D:~~

I am now in Alabama at teh wifey's place! And I have shiny Ryohei laptop on my lap!!!! *cuddles him* I'm also sitting here surrounded by hot w-inds. posters, books, magazines, con goods, and candy!!!! XD

Work was a shitty, shitty time so I am ever so glad to get away from it and be on vacation! The plane rides weren't so bad. But I just slept on and off. And my arse hurt from the seats. American Airlines' seats aren't as comfy as Southwest or JetBlue. Or maybe that's just my experience.

But everything arrived okay, even the wine and ramune bottles. XD

OH. And I tried Tabris' sweet tea and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH BOY is it sweet for this chick. I love tea and I tend to drink it without anything unless it's super strong, then it gets some honey. I love desserts and all that but I prefer my cakes not to be too sweet and I take the icing off. So maybe that explains my look of "OMG!!! TOO SWEET!" that she took with my camera.

Anyways, it's nearly 3:30am here and my body thinks it's 1:30am PST. So off to bed we go. We're going to hit up Nashville tomorrow. Any suggestions?

So I went and saw The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift last night with some friends. I must say that it fulfilled what I had expected of it and then some. I went into the movie knowing that the storyline was going to be utter crap and the racing/cars would be really awesome to watch. And it was. Of course, my knowledge of drifting is fairly limited to what I've seen on Initial D and my own experiences with street drag racing.

But the cars made me drool the most. One of my favorite cars, '97 RX7, was the one I was lusting after. But anyone who knows me and Initial D knows how much I love that car (the FD model). Even the FC is hot. And the movie gives a nod to the HachiRoku. Which made me squeee like I just saw an adorable pic of w-inds. or the sexy pics of Nari *coughs*XD (and if you haven't heard me squee over them, then you're pretty lucky in my opinion. :-D )

I'm not much into the American cars but the '67 Mustang they had in the movie was a sweet ride. With a Skyline engine of course. *_*

But watching this movie brought a bit of nostalgia for the street drag scene. It's still prevelant and I still have friends who showcase and are racing but sometimes I think about those times. It was full of drama, beautiful cars, car shows, car show h0es, ravin' and trance beats, playing billiards, street racing and all the meetups, seeing more beautiful cars, knowing a lot of thugs/wannabes/awesome peeps, meeting my girl

veilsdegto and staying close friends through all that shitty drama.

And speaking of my girl

veilsdegto, I thought I would pimp out her ebay auction for her car since she's moving and, unfortunately, needs to sell her award-winning ride. It's absolutely gorgeous and I am sad to see her sell it since it has been her baby ever since we've met.
