Hey friends! I'm still here! Yay!
It's been pretty rocky for the past few months. But I had a good, quiet Christmas. It wasn't quite the same but I don't think it'll ever be that way again. It'll take some time for things to get better, so one step at a time, right?
Anyways, I've been pretty immersed in my own world for a while. I've been reading crafting blogs, food blogs, wedding blogs, and shopping etsy like a fiend. A FIEND!!! So many things that I want to do for my own wedding but a)there's no time, b)there's not enough money for me to want to put Swarvosky crystals on all the wedding invitations, c)I don't have time, d)making my own wedding cake is out of my time budget and definitely insane, e)I wish I could afford the gigantic wedding that I really want to have on a cruise liner (which was nixed by the fiance on the account that his mom hates sailing D: ) or at a castle (also nixed because the castle I want would probably be in France and fiance's mom does not want to fly there. DDD: ).
So I was fairly crafty today and finally did the wine charms I've been wanting to make for a while. Super easy and really fun to do. But it brought me back to my college days when I was beading jewelry to relieve stress. I figured if I did a bunch of things to give as gifts, I would have them on hand for any occasion including Christmas. It felt so good to just create something.
But it's time to do some cleaning for the new year, which will be my focus for the next couple of days. So if anyone wants to buy some of my BPAL, the list is here! Free shipping for all my friends!
I'll try to post more often! In fact, it's one of my resolutions. What are some of your resolutions for the New Year?
