randomness
Jan. 18th, 2006 02:28 pmHmmmmm.....I feel like I need a change or something. I have this huge impulse to purge my icons and replace them all with icons from Bleach, Hikaru no Go, Initial D, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, or Yakitate!Japan or something. *shifty eyes* But I love all my current ones too. even if I don't use them all. They're there when I need to use them at an appropriate time.
I must be feeling restless again. I'm so eclectic and mercurial that I always want to change something or take up a new hobby. My latest is BPAL and that is a very expensive hobby. Well...more expensive than my other hobbies. Or not. *looks at scrapbooking/sticker supplies, jewelry, cds, anime dvds/dvds, shoes, and purse collections* Erm. Yeah. But at least I smell good, ne? *shifty eyes*
In other news, I'm nearly rid of the flu/nasty head cold I was given as a belated Christmas present from my coworker. Which is YAY! But am still working crazy hours. Also, World of Warcraft has officially sucked me back into playing. (Level 23 with only a week of semi-serious playing!!! heeeee! I've been averaging a level each time I play if I play for 3 hours. Of course it helps when I've got my kuya running my character through all my quests...esp. the orange and red ones! Nearly done with Wetlands!!! yay! But must do Gnomeregan. I want that staff!!!!!!) Yes, so I am slacking on RPG's in favor of WoW. Ooops. >.>
As work is slowly wrapping down to more normal hours, I am being a bit more active on LJ and need to stop lurking about and startstalking you all commenting again.
OH! I need some recs. C'mon flist. I need a book to read. So please recommend any book that is not a Horror/mystery (I get nightmares from those!) that is a good read. Thanks!
Here are my recommendations: The Art of Kissing by William Cane (a fun book on different types of kissing as well as the sociological impacts. He also has another one on handshakes. Pretty interesting.) and The Art of Doing Nothing by Veronique Vienne (I love her books...there's also The Art of Imperfection, The Art of the Moment, and The Art of Growing Up. She has beautiful sepia coloured photos and some great tips! And yes, I have them all!)
p.s. My Street X-Class at the gym ROCKS. I'm learning some new hip hop moves. Now if only the teacher taught how us how to pop. I need to work on that like you wouldn't believe. *is a bad dancer*
