OMG, my coworkers are funny. I've been stopped a few times today (and in the past weeks) and been made fun of my walk. I don't know what it is or what they've been smokin' but they're picking my walk apart!

One coworker told me that my butt bounces when i walk. The next one (who was right next to the first one) told me that all the black men must drool every time i walk by. The third (who was also next to the first two) wanted to see me walk. All three embarrassed me horribly when the first one said that out of the blue. They were telling me that I had a confident walk, an air of self-assurance and such (which is totally far from the truth. i freely admit i have horrible self-esteem issues and am currently working on it. =-P ). Which reminds me not to wear my heels or stilettos anywhere near them anytime soon.

the next incident happened today, when one of the programmers i work with was walking towards me, hips and hands swaying from side to side, in a mimicry of other ladies who walk around. He then attempted to convince me that he wasn't wacko and that some of the ladies in the company walk like that. very "feminine feminine". whereas i was "normal feminine". *dies laughing* how could someone separate/extract/equate a way of walking (or swaying) as "feminine feminine" and "normal feminine"? is there any true concept to that or is he just smokin' some good stuff and not sharing?

which brings me back to my next question of curiosity. Does the way someone walks define the air of confidence in a person? does it bring out the sexiness in someone? does it turn u on when a hot body walks by? or are you not fascinated with booty and this series of questions don't matter cuz ur a "leg" or "chest" *coughBOOBIEScough* person?

 if you answer yes to any of the above questions, tell me why? because my curious mind wants to know.

The walk - that's part of body language right? So sure the way they walk can indicate some sort of confidence or lack thereof. Like those who walk with their chin up in the air shows they're OVERconfident maybe, and for those who slouch and walk face down to the ground, I'd say they're not very confident and not very approachable. If you're a woman who oversways (hehe), it just looks funny and we might say that she looks so vain. Sexiness probably doesn't come from the walk alone.

ah, good answer! but what about the confident walk and self-esteem issues? i still feel like i have a lot of those problems but people tell me it doesn't show when i walk. maybe when i'm in deep thought and run into things b/c i'm not looking.

i dunno. i think the way someone walks is sexy because of the aura the person projects when walking. some people just radiate a sexy aura while others, you just can't tell if there's an aura there or not.

really? i've been noticing lately. and i'm a booty person....more like an EVERYTHING person...but i like to watch a man walk by. i like people-watching. heheh..

Personally, I like something I can grab onto in a woman's booty. But, sexuality is all in the attitude. Men and women alike. It's confidence that you are a sexual person that is projected, and that is highlighted by your walk. It's the same for men and women. I hate men that strut with that exaggerated almost like a limp. That's fake and quite frankly turns me off. In women, I like them to look me in the eye, not hide who they are under a slouch. No matter what size a person is, huge junk trunk or not, its how you think of yourself that counts. I myself am 5'8" and not especially stunning looking, but nice. My body is pretty much ok and tanned..and all yours babe, as long as you let me bounce that butt *leers*

as for me, i'm fairly shy (shaddup cousins! i know ur laughing!!! *mock glare*) in the way i barely look at people in the eye whenever i walk somewhere. I'm too busy in thought or daydreaming or enjoying the sun on my face or something.*shrugs* i don't think I slouch at all when i walk, hence the comment about a confident air. which i suppose I do have. i'm confident enough in knowing pretty much who i am (just gotta explore the outer edges ^_~) but yet, i know i'm insecure in many respects. don't know if guys will go for chicks with lots of curves and meat on their bones *points to self*
