a little on the emotional side

jemzso the day started out pretty nifty...i read a lil in my room until ant, 6, and I all went out for lunch. Went to Maggiano's Little Italy for lunch. goooood foood. we did the family style luncheon...two salads, two pastas, and two desserts!
then we walked around and ended up at border's to do some reading. i found a pretty cool book. then we went on a walk up and down the street until we reached the car.
i got a fone call from my mom. she was breakin' down and crying becuz she had to take my dad to the hospital for xrays the second time today. he's been sick for the past three weeks. the stubborn man kept telling us that he didn't feel that bad...but my mom kept pushing him to see a doctor...finally he relented this week and went in to see her today. the doc sent him off to go get xrays of his lungs at the hospital.
my mom called me to tell me that they were back at the hospital for another set of xrays. the doc had called after they got home from the first time. it took them 2 1/2 hours to do...why do they need a second one for? those things cost a lot of money!!!!
so i'm just waiting for them to get home now....maybe i should try to make dinner. my culinary skills are not the best in the household. ah well...
i need to do something...just to get my mind off of things.....*sigh*....
