sleeping during the rain

I'm still sleepy. After falling asleep around 7pm yesterday evening, i fully woke up around 6:45am this morning to the sound of rain gently spraying the ground. it was nice and warm in my bed and i just wanted to sleep some more.
now i'm at work, trying to wake up and fighting off those "i need more sleep' impulses. because i've been running on such little sleep or low quality sleep, i didn't feel as refreshed as i normally do when i sleep that long. it felt like i slept just enough to get a few hours of REM time. ah well.
at least the battle against insomnia is going in my favor. :-D
i hope it rains harder today. i love the rain this time of year! :-D
