jemzGAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I can't believe i missed the performance!!
So a few months ago, the gang and i were sittin' at chili's for dinner at Santana Row. After we finish stuffing ourselves, we walk towards starbucks for a caffiene fix when we hear this duo playing really cool songs. we sat there for the remainder of their set and kachang and i LOVED their music! the lead singer played the piano (or an electric keyboard) and the other guy was the drummer. man, i LOVED watching the drummer play. he's so darn charismatic when he's banging on those drums. the lead singer had a smooth voice. and sooooo being the opportunists we were, we got their demo cd to see if it was as good as the set they were playing.
the gang and i all met up again for dinner at chili's (where else!? man, it's becoming a tradition!) and to listen to the group perform. the group's name is The Betting Fraternity.
anyways...i just checked out their website and saw that they were performing tonite! darn. i was busy doing other things....*sigh* it would have been nice to hang outside and listen to some great music. ah well.
i got my calendar marked for the Killing Andy performance. the group are friends of my cousins and they're playing for the first time in a few years. It'll be nice to see Pierre, Beaver, and all the crazy guys. i swear i laugh so hard whenever i'm at the club with them. they are the SILLIEST guys i've ever known....and some of the sweetest! hey trammie...remember the "Buff Guy Contest". i laughed so hard i had to pee! :-D
in other news....i'm still experimenting with my hair. it doesn't like to air dry straight so i have to flat iron it all the time. takes TIME and it's more work than i'm used to. i beginning to feel more high maintenance as time goes by and i'm still trying to find an acceptable way to style my hair. i'm going to try and do ringlets tomorrow to see if they will look good with my halloween costume. i have my *doubts* but we will see what happens.
been thinkin' about going to the blue tattoo or the v-bar tomorrow nite. my co-worker has the serious hookup. hmmmm...temptation. but i have to be back at work at 7am the next day.....party or sleep? what should i do!? any advice!?
