veilsdegto's wedding was at Yamashiro Restaurant in Hollywood, CA. A gorgeous, gorgeous restaurant up on a hill with a really nice view of the LA and the smog. I got to the restaurant a bit late for the rehearsal but it all worked out in the end. :D Plus, driving a convertable 350Z through LA traffic was sorta fun. I was blasting some JE/w-inds./DBSK music with the top down. ;-)

Anyways, here's some pictures of the wedding! Yay for a huge picspam!

Our nails! I didn't realize that they would all do a French manicure and it's hilarious that we all did. And Sharon was the only one who went with the classic French while lilkimmiebaby and veilsdegto did the purple tips. I had purple tips with silver glitter all over. :D


So the food at The Grill in Hollywood at the Hollywood & Highlands mall (conveniently two blocks away from the restaurant and my hotel!) was amazing. And had the BIGGEST filet mignon ever. This is my dish. Delcious and huge and I totally did not finish.


Here's my friend's dish. He had the prime rib. SO HUGE and yummy, omg.


Sharon's daughter is so adorable and cute! She attacked that chocolate brownie with ice cream and drizzled chocolate like a pro. No one comes between her and her chocolate fix!!! a;lfja;slf so cute!


Then veilsdegto's mom and mother-in-law got her this HUGE bouquet of pink roses. SO BIG. AND PRETTY. AND OMG.






There was like this....sparkly dust that every single rose had and it made it so pretty. I totally want to get flowers like this! *___*


Onto the wedding! This is the centerpiece that greeted everyone when they walked through the double doors and into the wedding area. So elegant and classy! Very much like veilsdegto herself.


Each table had different flowers but they look so gorgeous like that.

I thought this was a lovely touch! She had handwritten cards for each guest, all resting on top of wheatgrass (mmmm....wheatgrass. Time for Jamba Juice!).


The money box! All covered with Red Mums and looking lovely next to the big floral centerpiece!


The bridesmaids' bouquet! So pretty! I had received a lot of compliments when I was carrying it through the airport to go home. XD

While we were bumming around in the bride's ready room, these arrived! From her mom and mother-in-law, these are in her wedding colors. So BIG.


Boxes of wedding cupcakes! Delicious red velvet cupcakes with a light purple buttercream frosting and a dark purple gum sugar rose.


So the bridal party all had sweetheart tables across the front of the garden. We all brought a date/significant other/hubby and each table had a single vase of flowers.

And really, everyone totally wants to know what I ate. :D The food at Yamashiro is DELICIOUS. MOUTHWATERING GOOD. ALSKDJF;ALKFJ;ALFKJS;A

So the first course was really Miso Soup and this is the second thing they brought out!


a tartare, they said it is. OISHII, is what I exclaimed!

This filet mignon is easily the best I've ever tasted. You cut it with a BUTTER KNIFE. a;lkjf;aslkf I was so full by that time but I made room for it! SO DELICIOUS.


The really hot photographer's assistant. :D He's adorable and was really nice!


For amanuan and koneho, my eyes for the night! :D I'm wearing MAC's Fake Lashes #3 with a whole lotta of other MAC makeup and the bright purple you see there is Makeup Forever's Aqua Eyes 11L. :D



Now off to dinner with Fishbot and family!

I *love* the centerpieces. Those were what I had in mind for my wedding, but with huge orchids instead.
