hahah. Usually I am busy with RL things but it tends to get really amped up during the holidays. I'm hoping this year is slightly quieter but then again, I'm traveling A LOT this year. :D
YAAAAY, MAYBE YOU CAN VISIT ME. :DDD *tags along with you to Tokyo* XP (Though to be honest I liked Osaka better, but... I REALLY WANT TO GO TO SHIBUYA. AND ROPPONGI.)
I adored Kyoto more than Osaka and Tokyo, actually. But I'm in Tokyo to visit shimmeredusk and paint the town red with her, shabzilla, and mousapelli. :D And go to concerts.
Shibuya is fun for shopping but I also liked Harajuku and Shinjuku.
Kyoto was nice, but I felt like all they showed us was temples, temples and more temples. I was on a tour so I didn't get to do much on my own, but we had more free time in Tokyo than Kyoto, so.
D: Lucky. I'm so jealous. I really want to go back. *swims* I kind of just want to go to Shibuya because it's where the JE building is we didn't get to go on the tour. Harajuku was really fun, but I didn't see the point of going on a MONDAY. :( Nobody interesting was there and I had no money. Shinjuku was awesome, but I blew my money on JE stuff in those two places. XP *has no control*
Well...Kyoto has a lot of temples. XD I like the temples and I did the Philosopher's Walk (http://swtjemz.livejournal.com/249684.html#cutid1) during Cherry Blossom season. I didn't go with a tour group and so I had time to explore Kyoto, Osaka, and a few other places. Then it was 9 days in Tokyo for shopping, shopping, and more shopping!
Harujuku is really, really awesome on the weekends. :D
This is true, but I felt like they wanted to focus on that and that ONLY, for Kyoto. I would have liked to see some aspects of every day life there too. We never went on that Walk, but we were there during Cherry Blossom season too, and god was it beautiful. ~_~ (Sakura ice cream is so delicious.)
XD It is. Everybody was really nice about letting us take pictures of them (including the guys at the convenience store who held up porno mags. X.x;;) but I didn't see the point of going back to Harajuku on a Monday when nobody interesting was there, instead of somewhere new. Oh well.
Happy New Year, Tia! I had a blast at the parties! Much fun and started off the year with a BANG! I hope yours was equally nice and you didn't have to go home early! ♥
