I wallowed in the newness of it all..

SO. I HAD AN AWESOME WEEKEND. Y? YES.

Despite working all day long on Saturday, I met up with vanae12 in the late afternoon to meet up with some other friends for a fantastic Michael Buble concert. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. I love his voice a whole lot and he did some of my favorite songs and he's so hilarious and a wonderful all-around entertainer.

It's strange to go from more intimate venues like the Paramount Theatre in Oakland or the Greek Theatre in Berkeley to the Oracle Arena. It's nice that he's playing at bigger venues and nearly selling them out but I really wish he did smaller shows just so I can rush the stage like a groupie and take a lot of great vids of him singing.

But whenever I find my camera battery charger, I will upload some of those videos for all to see! WHEEE.

PLUS, vanae12 and I got to hang out with some of the members of his horn section until the wee hours of the night just drinking wine and hanging out and listening to some random guitar music being played.

Sunday was spent with utterly delightful company at a gorgeous home. The wedding reception was beautiful and laidback, with delicious food and free-flowing supply of the bubbly. Even the reds and whites were flowing but hey, the sparkling wine was the wine to drink out by the lake. It was a perfect summer day and purelica and I dangled our feet in the water with glasses of sparkling wine in one hand. There was some fabulous conversation going on and lots of plans being made.

I had a really wonderful weekend.

Plus, I missed everyone online even while I was out having a ball! Yay for shimmeredusk for landing safely in Tokyo, jackoweskla for gaining the interwebs again (no matter for how short a time period! *clings*), for spurious and happiestwhen for the awesome awesome dorm room that they have! *_____*, for mousapelli for writing me that awesome, awesome SHOONRyoPin fic, for bloodybrilliant for seeing the light and joining the RevoluSHOON!!!, for shinigamitabris just because ♥, for kisekiga for slowly falling for Ohno Satoshi (I WILL GET YOU TO FALL FOR HIM SUPER HARD. HE'S SO AWESOME. HOW CAN YOU RESIST?), ilanabean42 just because ♥, PINIONS because I really do love PIN so. damn. much. *flailsquee*, and so many MORE.

i do like his voice. and i do like his hair in some of the pvs. i also love the ohmiya and he is half of that.

and have you watched any of the arashi shows like Mago Mago Arashi or Syukudai-kun no Arashi or C/D/G no Arashi? *____________________* I really love their shows since they are so wonderfully goofy and dorky.

heeeeee. Ohno is the best dancer in the group and it shows. Even Tsubasa wants to dance with him. :D

i don't watch any of the shows, no. i can barely make myself watch domoto kyoudai in the rare occasion that someone subs it.

yzo and I survived a weekend in Big Sur with my extended family. Several of my cousins who will be getting swift kicks in the shins next time I see them apparently wished him luck making it to next year.

We then finished off the weekend with dinner over at rightsock's place, and lots of wowing.

I think Michael Buble is fantastic, and it sounds like you had a fantastic time watching him play. I haven't seen him live yet, but my mum has and she says he's amazing. I also think he's hilarious. Very funny and entertaining to watch when he's on the telly.
