Harajuku Girls you got the wicked style

So here is the next part of the picspam for Japan 2007! This time, it's my Harajuku folder!

lady_gemma, kenaressa, shinigamitabris, and I had a late morning it was so nice to sleep in! before getting ready to head over to Harajuku in the afternoon. We went on a Saturday (omg, w-inds. fc event the night before was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING.) afternoon after getting gussied up with the makeup and such. kenaressa had made beautiful black feathered wings and we strapped them on her when we got to Yoyogi Park (next to the Harajuku JR station!).

Then we went into Harajuku after a few hours of watching kenaressa posing, taking pics of other cosplayers, enjoying akame boy the guitarist of the band that was playing on the street. We also found ネロウメロウ there where wifey and I fell in love with their music. :D

So enough of the babble and onto the pictures. After all, that's what you want from me, right?


















He was so adorable. He was running around, trying to keep his skirt down from the silly girls on the other side of us who kept trying to flip his skirt up to see if he really was a boy underneath that dress. XD

Japanese fashion is very...interesting...

Since this is only Harajuku, it's the place to be if you like cosplaying or dressing up in wildly outlandish colors/styles. Personally, I prefer Shibuya or Shinjuku in terms of fashion but I do love Harajuku for some of the more punk pieces of clothing. and the JE Idol shop there.

Most of Tokyo, from what I've seen, are very fashionably trendy or in suits of dark colors. Kyoto has less of the black suits and more of the color but I do prefer Tokyo high-end fashion.

Yeah, I know it's not all that scary, but when it is weird, it's very, very weird. (I spent this weekend with a bunch of people trying to imitate this sort of fashion, so I suppose it's understandable that I'm a bit weirded out by it.)

Dark suits do sound nice, though...

hahaha. I know exactly what you mean. I just spent over 4 days surrounded by cosplayers so it's sorta become more normal to me.

I like some of the fashion by I think my obsession is just with the fake lashes right now. XD
