Uhhh. I fail at posting the links I wanted to since they are all at home and I got distracted by shiny, dancing boys and laundry. :/

So I am going to youtube spam you with three songs that have invaded my head. Yes. It is DBSK (or Dong Bang Shin Ki in Korean/Tohoshinki in Japanese for those who don't know them....yet.) and all in Japanese. with their korean accents! I'll spam later with the Korean vids but I am rather fond of their Japanese singles. Esp. their four latest releases. *______* JaeJoong and Yunho are my favorites. shush Nino-moto, I know I always like the leaders/best dancers of the group but JaeJoong is just adorable and emo. You know you love them too. :-P

This is the Japanese version of Rising Sun. Complete with dancing JaeJoong (who was unable to dance in the Korean Version due to a leg injury)



O - Sei.Han.Go and miss you is one of their double a-side singles in Japan. I adore both songs.

I was never able to get into 동방신기 [DBSK]'s Japanese music, because the accents drive me crazy. D: Actually, with most SME groups, I prefer their dramas/side activies over their singing. I don't think there's been an omg amazing group since H.O.T, Fly to the Sky, etc.

Of course, I still think 준수 [Junsu; Xiah] is one of the cutest things. XD;

I don't mind the accents since it reminds me of korean accents in English and I grew up with accented English. So I kind of think accented Japanese in the same sort of way. Does that even make sense? ^^;

I love their acappella stuff. I really do. And their Japanese is getting better, so it's something! better than my accent!

H.O.T., Shinhwa, and Fly to the Sky are some old school favorites of mine. DBSK is the next generation and I think that some of the music they are making are pretty fun to listen to. Of course, there is always love for Shinwha and FttS since they are still active. ^_^

at first, i did go gaga over yunho. i really did. ask halffling. she knows how much i went "oooh!" and *flail* over yunho. Then jaejoong just won out. something about him that just attracts the ladies, i guess. XD

I think my fav of those is O because of the part at about 2:50. It's a particularly hot Yunho moment.

Miss you and Rising Sun are good too though. I like them all really.^^ I also love the beginning of Choosey Lover (well, I love all of it but anyway) where Yunho is saying "Let's Party". Their Engrish is so cute.

Ohhh yeah, and My destiny is good too, for their Japanese songs. I still like some of their Korean songs a lot, like Rising Sun Korean version and Triangle anddddd yeah. Yay pretty!

YES. Their Engrish is so cute. Especially when they are trying to understand Yoochun when he is talking in English with another English speaker. It's so cute how Junsu protests and JaeJoong repeats the sounds while Changmin and Yunho just laugh.

I WATCHED that vid today after Snoy linked me to BALLOONS and we both died laughing at the cat/bunnyboyness of it all. *____________* I promptly said, "OH THIS is that DBSK thing I've been seeing about. I didn't know it was a GROUP. >.>" And then I said, "OMG NEEED! I NEED MORE of their music!!!!"

Then I thought "Of course JEMZY will help me >.>"

BALLOONS IS SO FREAKING AWESOME. THEY CHANNEL THEIR CUTE INNER KID AND JAEJOONG JUST SNARKS AT HIS KID. IT IS CUTE AND I FLAIL EACH TIME HE DOES THAT.

Personally, I think rap sounds better in Korean than in Japanese because the way it flows. Japanese is a bit more monotone than Korean, which has the harsher syllables that rappers can spit out.

I HAVE LOTS OF THE J/K VARIETY. And even some cute Chinese thrown in. ^__^ AND CALL ME. WE SHALL FLAIL AND TALK FOR HOURS. I HAVE MISSED J00!!!

Ahhh, yet another sucker that has fallen to TVXQ. =)

The Japanese version of Rising Sun still sort of puts me off. I dunno....it has its moments but it just didn't translate well in my opinion. They managed to make O work, though, so go figure.

In my (very un-researched and random) opinion, Jaejoong gets a lot more solo/melody time in the Japanese songs (vs the Korean ones being more balanced between the 5. or at least between him and Junsu). I'm not complaining by any means (as I like his voice best somehow), but I think he stands out just a bit more at first because of that.

I've clearly been listening to them too much since I'm sitting here analyzing them now.....yeah....

O - jang.ban.hap is actually the first song I've heard by them. I was like..."This is cool but OMG!!! w-inds.! w-inds.! w-inds.!" at the time. I think I only have enough squee capacity to engulf one boyband at a time. I love all their Korean music. I do like a lot of their Japanese music since I can ignore their accents (it's like mine when I try to speak Japanese!).

Really? I think Junsu gets a lot of the melody time as well. I think it's starts out with either Junsu or Changmin and then comes JaeJoong. XD I adore JaeJoong's voice too. My mom's watched them before I even got into them and thinks JaeJoong could go solo.(She used to be a singer before deciding to give it so she can get married and move to the States).

And you should definately listen more to them!!!! *flails* March 14 is coming up for their new album! wheeeee!
