I am swamped at work with stuff I absolutely need to finish before I leave tomorrow afternoon for vacation and I don't want to do it at all. Which sucks because my day is entirely packed with things I need to get my fat arse in gear to complete!
Which also means, I'm going to miss the first episode of House tonight. DDDD: I am taking a Japanese class with the Adult Education Center for the City of ************* so I can at least learn the katakana and hiragana well enough to get by in Japan next year. Maybe even learn to speak so I don't get myself horribly lost for a foreigner.Even though they will all turn to me to translate for the group of people I am going with because I am the only Asian chick in a group of fair-skinned people and I will look at them and give them the classic Keita look of "BWUH?" and fail and speak fobby Viet to them. XD
But I so fail at packing!!! Yes, I hear you (*looks at
Ryuichi and Tachibaka*) laughing at me but I totally fell asleep at 7pm last night and didn't wake up til dawn this morning and thus, FAILED in packing like I wanted to and must spend precious sleep time packing! *flails*
but, but, but! Tomorrow night I will be in Alabama and crashin' on Tabris' couch to cuddle with Ryohei (i.e. nice, new, shiny laptop!) and watch Nobuta! Because I am so determined to watch it before my mom gets hold of the episodes and steal them away from me! :O And I will get my greedy hands on many, shiny things. And oh lordie am I looking forward to the trip!!! I will be with thewifey from late Wednesday night (because there is no direct flight there. X( and I have to take stupid connecting flight, plus time zone difference!) until Monday morning.
We are so getting drunk on Saturday night, thanks to our invented game of "3 Sheets to the w-inds.!" which consists of romancock (!!!!) shots while watching a w-inds. concert marathon. Yes, we will be watching 1st Message, System of Alive, Prime of Life, and ageha all in one shot.omg, Tabris will be so smashed! Y'all realize how many times Ryuichi's hand hovers/grabs his crotch!?!?!? So erm, expect lovely phonecalls from me. If you want a drunken call from me (or not!), better let me know now or forever hold the phone away from your ear! My West Coast people better expect it since I'll be in Central time and I can totally spam you with drunk callings (right, halffling? ) darkeyedwolf, want us to call you while we're flailing? Since we'll totally miss you and you can't come up to join us?! Next best thing?
alkjflaskjflajfd; My love for JPop has brought back my love for JRock...in particular GLAY. I have been scouring Youtube like mad for videos and so forth. The awesome Tabris has downloaded GLAY's entire discography on Ryo and I cannot wait to listen to them! I forgot how much I adore Jiro. And Hisashi. *_* I swear Hisashi doesn't age at all. Ryohei of w-inds. is going to be totally like Hisashi with the not aging thing. *nods firmly*
halffling has infected me with love for Chemistry (their remix album is my favorite! They do r&b/hiphop.), K (dlkafjalsdjf;lajf OMG!!! HIS VOICE! another r&b singer.), Ellegarden (*keysmashes* They sound a lot like Sum41, Simple Plan, and All American Rejects!), and of course, GLAY's labelmate, L'Arc en Ciel. I, in turn, have been spamming her with GLAY because she has to love a band I fangirl like mad. arashiangel infected me with Tokio, got me started on EXILE, and converted me to WaT. shinigamitabris and lady_gemma have teamed up to slam me with ARASHI. DDDD: So many bands!!!!
One day, I will make a pimp post worthy ofhalffling or darkeyedwolf and you will all experience new music. But for now, my girly squee will have to do.
OMG. What else am I forgetting to write down. I'm so sorry that this post is so spazzy especially since I haven't written anything down in ages.at least anything interesting to read or useful!.
I have been listening to Christina Aguilera's double cd, Back to Basics, on repeat for nearly three weeks!!!! Some of the songs keep putting me in a mood for some Swing dancing and more Big Band music to listen to! :O Which makes me nostalgic because I am so missing my old ballroom/nightclub dance classes. D: I am most sad but at the same time relieved that I don't have to teach anymore. But it gives me time for WoW or other mind-sucking activities. It feels empty to have my Mon/Wed nights free. I think I may have to fill it up with something semi-productive like taking more classesfor another BA/BS degree or something. I'm not sure what yet. It feels like I have to be super busy or I feel like a useless moocher of society.
I should be planning out the many events I need to be planning out but instead I am procrastinating like helljust like I did in college and writing in LJ. But I am just too excited about my trip for work.
Speaking of the trip,sintari, are we still up for lunch? I'll email you my digits *flirty wink* if we are! And kungfooqueen & incognito, are you both freeeeeeeeeee for dinner with Tabris, Thermi, and I in Atlanta?!?!?!?!?
