So why does this amuse me in a way that American government can't?
This amuses me greatly since I have a karoake machine at home and rarely bother going out to sing at karoake bars as of the last few years. Plus, going to a karoake bar to drink hard and get laid with some stranger is not my idea of a good time. Give me a respectable club, dammit! *is facetious*
I wonder what the government is trying to prove? That Karoake will unite all our hearts as one and peace will cover us under a blanket of dulcet tunes?
Ah well. Brings to mind old times when family came over and the karoake machine was always in use. Good thing I like to sing along at a club when I'm shakin' my saltshaker on the dance floor, grooving and jivin'.

Pity about the no alcohol thing, though. I need to be tanked to want to sing karaoke, so I can sympathize.
