I wallowed in the newness of it all..
Aug. 27th, 2007 09:49 amSO. I HAD AN AWESOME WEEKEND. Y? YES.
Despite working all day long on Saturday, I met up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
vanae12 in the late afternoon to meet up with some other friends for a fantastic Michael Buble concert. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. I love his voice a whole lot and he did some of my favorite songs and he's so hilarious and a wonderful all-around entertainer.
It's strange to go from more intimate venues like the Paramount Theatre in Oakland or the Greek Theatre in Berkeley to the Oracle Arena. It's nice that he's playing at bigger venues and nearly selling them out but I really wish he did smaller showsjust so I can rush the stage like a groupie and take a lot of great vids of him singing.
But whenever I find my camera battery charger, I will upload some of those videos for all to see! WHEEE.
PLUS,vanae12 and I got to hang out with some of the members of his horn section until the wee hours of the night just drinking wine and hanging out and listening to some random guitar music being played.

Sunday was spent with utterly delightful company at a gorgeous home. The wedding reception was beautiful and laidback, with delicious food and free-flowing supply of the bubbly. Even the reds and whites were flowing but hey, the sparkling wine was the wine to drink out by the lake. It was a perfect summer day andpurelica and I dangled our feet in the water with glasses of sparkling wine in one hand. There was some fabulous conversation going on and lots of plans being made.
I had a really wonderful weekend.
Plus, I missed everyone online even while I was out having a ball!
