sleepy times
May. 4th, 2004 07:58 amthis past weekend was pretty chill for me.
I ended up NOT going to Tahoe with some girlfriends. I wanted to just chill the weekend through.
I went to a friend's house with kenny for a good ol' korean bbq and some anime. kenny brought his x-box to play halo. after binging on some DELICIOUS korean short-ribs and marinated chicken and fresh salad, we started taking some raspberry sake shots. I brought my raspberry sake that I bought at Hakusan a few weeks earlier. It was sooo good COLD. Kenny kept asking for more and more. We finished that bottle in less than half an hour! it was good though...not very strong in alcohol but an excellent dessert sake for after binging on korean bbq!
Saturday was chill...woke up and went to work for a quick hour and bounced to get some stuff at Walmart. came home and i was just chillin' around the house when my parents decided to go up to Sacramento to hang out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bebiteeny's parents. So they got ready and bounced by 4pm (mind you, at 2:45pm they decided that they wanted to see Tine's new home) with a quickness. Left me to take my baby sis shopping. Bro was at a baby shower so I didn't worry too much about him. I'm glad my parents are socializing more....they need it!
after sis and i shopped until i had no more money, we went home. where i sat my fat butt down and watched Pretear (a new series i got) and Naruto (a new series I borrowed) and dammit, i got HOOKED to both of them. now i have to go out and get the last dvd to Pretear and finish up the episodes I have of Naruto. If you're an anime freak, NARUTO is awesome. It's up there with some of my favourite series (i.e. ruroni kenshin, fushigi yuugi, etc.) Plus, I saw that they came out with Volume 1 of MARMALADE BOY!!! My sister flipped out over that! I got her hooked onto that when i borrowed the entire series on tape. heheh...told me to work overtime to buy it! I probably will too....damn...so many series i need to buy or finish collecting! :-D
Sunday, i went to Ethan's first birthday. Jimmy's son grew SOOOOOOOOOOO big! i remember when he was born! I got him such cute outfits too! I got him an adorable t-shirt with two bears on it saying "I Love My Daddy" with some shorts. Then I found a cute whale shirt with some cute blue hawaiian board shorts with matching flip flops and sunglasses! Ethan's gonna be styling by the pool! :-D totally adorable.
after all that, I went home and devoured more episodes of naruto. til my parents kicked me out for sleep. My laptop won't play the darn things and their computer does...hence, i took over and sat there and DEVOURED the episodes....can't wait to go home and watch some more! :-D
yesterday...was the long exhausting day of work and then straight to school. got conned into eating after class...but since i did, i had to stay up for two hours to look for some pretty neat stuff on the laptop. showered and crashed.
here i am at work again....i got to squeeze in an episode of naruto this morning...so i'm okay for now...but yesterday, i was feening for it. it's all good, i get to go home and watch it! :-D i'm exhausted but glad i saw it this morning!!!!
