Apr. 30th, 2004 07:35 amwell...i've been back from my business trip to ohio and it was interesting. long flight for me since i've never been anywhere but texas and california.
since allergies are majorly kicking my ass today, I'll try to keep this short and coherent.
this week, i've been crazy hectic busy. had a midterm on monday, some projects due at work, dance class, went hiking at mission peak and DIED, then last nite did some shopping. got my kuya's son some cute summer outfits for his first birthday on sunday. sooo kawaiii! and i also got a cute skirt for myself at Anthropologie. Made me miss my shopping sprees.....
bebiteeny, girl, u better come down to san jose so we can go crazy shopping in San Francisco again!!!!!
Got a chance to talk to an old friend yesterday. It was good to hear from him....of course, i forgot how big a flirt he is, but other than that...it was great! found out he has connections at two of my favorite retail companies. *evil laugh* hookup for me! time to scope some new shoes from Diesel and some cute gear from FCUK! :-D
I've decided to give up chocolate again after this upcoming sunday. I have a family reunion coming up in a few months and I would love to fit into my new clothes...so on a diet and exercise regimen I go! Along with eating super healthy, i've decided to walk for at least half an hour per day as well as 30 minutes of just dancing.
On Wed. nite...after the ballroom classes were done, my friend and I were helping two sisters learn how to dance hip hop. then at the end, we just freestyled for about 15 minutes. man, were we SWEATY!!! it felt good. it totally geared up my desire to learn new moves and new techniques in dancing. I'm going to try to work on my popping techniques to be smoother and more explosive. :-D it's a new goal! i've been watching some music videos and I want to try some of the moves that they have. i'm not good at choreagraphed moves but i tend to be better at freestyle. I can snitch some cool moves from them. I think practicing will help me slim down a lot. Also thinking about doing some pilates to tone up. just waiting to get my yoga mat back from my sister's friend. gotta remind her.
well...gotta get back to work. been slackin' off for a while now! i'm going to try and comment on everyone's journal some point today...gotta catch up on my reading! *smoochies*
