i need sleep....
May. 11th, 2003 10:27 amGah…I’m at work and it hurts. I am SLEEP DEPRIVED. I went out to celebrate Gene’s birthday after I got out of work. We ended up going to Agenda’s…but we went through the side for $5 for all three rooms. We mainly hung out in the top floor (where Katrina and I normally go for salsa dancing, and where I first met the birthday boy too) and got him all nice and liquored up. We all had a blast and it was fun. We went to eat at Denny’s in Milpitas. Unfortunately, Gene got to see his dinner and couldn’t handle his post-party snack. We ate, laughed, and poked fun at each other and generally had a good time. I got home at 4am and went straight to bed, only to wake up at 8am to go to work by 9am. Sucks, huh? I got perhaps 4 hours of sleep if I’m lucky enough to get some REM time in there.
So now I’m sleep deprived and I’m going to be a zombie all day. I was MAD yesterday too. On the way to meet the gang, I got lost. When I finally found where I was supposed to be heading, a cop pulls me over and tells me that I can’t make a right turn on a red light. Man, I never saw that sign! I was thinking, “what the hell? I can’t?” But I accepted it with grace even after the stupid cop tells me to pay more attention since there is a sign that says “no turn on red”. I went back and the sign is covered by stupid leaves. I couldn’t see it. I was too busy trying to not hit the cars that kept cutting in front of me unexpectedly. So now I’m pissed off…..can’t take traffic school for this stupid ticket and my insurance is going to go up. I wasn’t speeding or anything and I even did full complete stops instead of the infamous “California stop”. Stupid cop, it’s mother’s day the next day and he doesn’t even give me a break….freakin’ bike cop…>:-P
Yesterday at work, I got soo many visitors! Danielle, her mom, and Malika stopped by. Katrina glanced by and didn’t see me ( I was in the fitting room!), and my cousin 6 stopped by with nhoJ. 6 and nhoJ got me some yummy Jamba Juice! Thanks cuz! Work went by quicker because of these visits!
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone and esp. to all the momma’s out there (cuevafamily) and to all the ladies who take of children….it’s hard being parent. I know I don’t want kids….i just want to play with them and then give them back to their parents! :-D
O-rite…time for me to get back to work and quit slacking off…..
