Whooo hooo….what a relief. This week is about to be OVER! I’m glad. I’m happy. I’m ecstatic that all the stress is over. No more stress at work! All the visits are done. Everything looks good. They had changed the store around to be more airy and roomy. I liked the way they had changed everything and moved things around. The only bad thing about it is that Milly and I have to come back at 7am on Monday to re-do all the zones and put the clothes where they’re supposed to be. Fun, huh? It’s all good. At least I know I’m doing good. Got complimented today and they passed it along to my DM, which is even better….maybe a future raise? enough about work…on to more mundane things.
I went to go see X Men 2 yesterday. Pretty dope. Lots more action. I liked the fact that they just went straight into the story without the recap. Didn’t have to introduce the characters again. It was like the next episode…kinda like the way Lord of the Rings Trilogy is done….it assumes that u saw the first movie. I like that. There were so many characters that I wanted to see but they didn’t have time to showcase all the mutants from the comics. But I did get to see Shadowcat, siren, jubilee, Colussos, and some others….they also showed Beast before he was blue and Gambit’s name. it was interesting that they never mentioned anything about lady deathstrike being a former gf of wolverine…but it’s okay…can’t fit the entire marvel universe into the movies….too many spin offs. It was cool they included Nightcrawler, Iceman, Rogue, and Pyro. I kinda wanted them to bring in Quicksilver, Magneto’s son, but then that would involve the rest of his team, either X-factor or Excalibur.....I keep forgetting. Oh well.
So my day started out pretty well. Got all dolled up for the event. Now at Starbucks at Sunnyvale watching Gene, Kachang, Siku, and Kenchi play 4-way chess. Or what I call a foursome game of chess….*naughty smile* I’m currently planning out my trip to Roseville next Friday and my trip to San Diego at the beginning of June. I think I want to meet up with Scilly at Disneyland and be a kid again…heh...run around, ride rides, and see the magic in things. All that good stuff.
Onna stop writing and pay attention to the game…even tho I’m not playing. It’s still kinda fun to watch and get into the groove. I’m currently listening to music I had dl’ed. I still need more songs. Do you people have any ideas? Any good songs out there?
