My poor burnt back

so it hurts. i've never been burnt this badly before....weird experience....painful...but weird. so i put on this after sun treatment my sis got for her burns. talk about my sunburnt back being bad....my sis's face got super burnt while she was at the warped tour concert!

so....after hanging out at home, i went to kachang's place for dinner. gene made some yummy food and then gene, kenny, and i set off to watch League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. it was an okay movie....we all liked Pirates of the Caribbean (that we all watched the night before) much better. after the movie, went back to kachang's and played some cards. i bounced out around 2am since i had to work in the morning.

i found out that i can only lay on my back for so long before it starts to really hurt...then i either have to flip on my tummy or to the side. man, that sucked! ah well...it will heal....esp. since i keep slathering the after sun treatment and this cool aloe vera cooling gel on my back. i have a wierd tan on my chest....so i definately can't wear any low cut v-neck tops to go out until i get that part tanned......*sigh*

i dont' really want to be at work....this starts my ten day workweek.....blah....counting down!

yup...it sucks.....ah well..it's a whole bunch of 6 -8 hour shifts...with a couple of 5 hour ones thrown in...not soo bad...could be a lot worse.

hahah...yeah i know...but right now...all i can do is try to heal my poor sunburnt to the crisp back....then we can talk about seeing each other....i can't sit back in the chairs when i drive or when i'm at work or any other time...it hurts to put pressure on it! when it heals...then we'll see....eheh

thanks for the bbq...and yea, i got burned on my arms and neck and cheeks....i think it's cuz the bbq was during the midday and the sun was at its highest and bearing directly down on us. yea, that's my engineering analysis. yea.

oh and i also got my first mosquito bite this year.....-( i saw this big mosquito on my right arm and i tried to blow it away but it wouldn't budge, so i knew it was sucking my blood...so i had to smash it. damn mosquito. i hate mosquitos--they serve no purpose in this world. why do they exist? damn them.

oh, and i didn't touch any of the korean bbq. heh. speaking of which, there's a korean bbq place on...el camino i believe. you have this grill in the middle of the table and you go to the counters where all the foods are and pickout whatever meats and veggies you want...then you take it back to your table and you cook and grill it yourself! only drawback is that when you leave the place, your clothes reek of korean bbq!

damn i'm hungry now. gotta find something to scarf down.
