Oct. 12th, 2005 12:58 pmI just need new batteries for all the torches, updated supplies in the four first aid kits scattered about the house, and perhaps a Honda generator for emergency backup.
Well...it's still a maybe on that last one. I need to discuss it with the family about it. But it seems like a very good thing to have on hand in case of emergency. Of course, I just restocked the water supply last night....25 gallons of water. ^_^
What prompted all this consideration? Reading that predicitve report from the scientists at my almer mater predicting a major earthquake of at least a 7.0 on the Richter scale. Cuz you know, I live near a fault line that moves from side to side. Yeah. Better safe than sorry, right? stfu, California's not going to fall in the ocean...we're just going to break off from the mainland and hang out with the peeps in hawaii. =-P
But seriously, my heart and prayers go out to those affected in the Quake that hit Pakistan and India.

Are we still painting your master bedroom? Or helping you settle in with the kitchen? Ikea on Friday, right?
