second half of the recap

pi6tails a yummy cranberry vodka, i sat there with purelica and shiseidogirl in the kitchen, eating and talking. we had a lot of fun. for some reason, ant_in_my_pants had disappeared somewhere and we wanted to hang out with him for a bit without the other people around. ahhh well. next time!
claire and charlie are just tooo adorable. sooo cute!!! they were playing bop it withant_in_my_pants later on in the evening. they were explaining to him how it worked. ant said that he felt like he was listening to surround sound since each one was on either side of him. LOL then the playing commenced. the kids were laughing and telling ant he was too slow or that he did the wrong thing. it was too cute to watch!!!
so after a while...i started getting tired. ant left after a while....i got to sit and chill with jennifer, riz, and kenny. played pool against joe...he played with one hand. he was winning when claire come up and grabbed a couple of the balls and started rolling them around in a game that ant played. heheh..cute kid. saved me from losing! whooO hOO.
i looked at the people hanging outside with the grill and they didn't look too friendly. they looked intent on getting drunk. not that there's anything wrong with that...but dang...it's supposed to be primarily forpi6tails' birthday since john and her were doing the HUGE effort and all these people have not said "happy birthday" in my hearing, ONCE. damn moochers. I hope she had fun tho. :-D *huggles* cuz i love her lots and i want to her to be happy on her birthday!!!!!!
after kenny and i left (i'm kenny's ride), we went over to kachang's place to rummy. man, we were all tired and kenny and gene wanted to talk about preparation for the surprise bbq the next day. that and we were in rummy withdrawals. lol
so we played rummy while katrina was mesmerized by her new digital cable. she kept flipping through channels and not pay attention to the game. heheh...threw away points. after a while, we ended the game and left to crash. poor gene, he had to go and buy all the food for the next day. kenny was going to delay as much as possible so things can be all in place.
the next day, i went to work, TIRED. got out at 1:15pm to rush over to the milpitas library to buy a cookie frompi6tails' gfc team and pick up my pans. then i ran over to lake elizabeth to get to the bbq to help out. much to my surprise, i was the third one there besides gene! dang!!!! javier diaz was grilling and linh had the small grill going. soon..more and more people came by. then we saw kenny's car whiz by...heheh...time to surprise! Kenny and katrina walked towards us. i could see katrina's face trying to figure out where his family is having their father's day bbq. she had this confused look on her face. heheh..then we said "happy birthday". it STILL didn't click in with her. then about 30 seconds later, understanding dawned on her...esp. after kenny said, "kachang, it's a surprise BIRTHDAY bbq for you." hehehehe...classic look on her face.
then we ate some yummy food. gene left to drop off his nephews in moutain view and will be back later. eric got lost. he parked right in front of us and walked a huge circle to get back to where we are. ehehhe...blind bat! he was wearing his new glasses to get used to them. still so blind! heheh
gene came back and he made himself some food. everyone else was just laughing and having a grand ol' time. then kachang started it all. she had a water balloon that she threw, aiming for connie (or so she claimed!) and smacked kenny right in the side. she got me too since i was sitting right across from kenny, playing cards. kenny got back at her with the super soaker....ehheh..then rich gave me the gun to squirt at her..ehheeh. i got all the other parts she didn't have wet, wet. lol. then she poured a bottle of water on top of his head. gene got back at her with a super soaker gun. hehe..got her all drenched. then he came at kachang with bottles of water...she ran to hid behind me...and he got us both even though were were about 6 feet apart...he came after me!!!! he claimed innocent bystanders got wet too. damn gene! lol...soaked through and i'm wearing a white skirt!!!!!!!
gene got EVERYONE partially wet. grumpy bear just wanted to eat his food. then he shot point blank, water all over connie and mary, who was sitting there eating with him. connie ran away and he chased her to get her as wet as katrina. lol
pinata time came with laughter...katrina was blindfolded and swinging every which way. finally, she wacked it and it fell. it didn't break, though. so she wacked a few more times. still didn't break. the gene took over and went at it. lol...candies spilled everywhere. everyone got a piece of candy and gene gave the rest to the kids in the surrounding area. hheheh
when we brought out the cake to light the candles (all 26 of them!) we had the kids sing happy birthday to get the candies. we sang it LOUDLY for her too. heheh...she blew them all out and proceeded to cut the cake. the first slice she had up to put on a plate but gene tried to smash it her face. it fell on her hand and she went after connie. gene held connie in place as katrina smashed the cake into her face and hair. heheheeh...we were all dying of laughter. >=-] mary took her off to the bathroom to clean up. then gene went to cut up the pie. everyone backed away from him...thinking he was going to smash it in our faces. heheh..he didn't but he had the evil look in his eyes that suggested that he might just go ahead and do it. lol
then everyone cleaned up and headed off for other places. i went home to eat some yummy bbq stuff with my family and watch the second half of the spurs vs. nets game. ehehhe..
later on, eric picked me up to go hang out with the group at santana row. they played chess and rummy while rich and i watched ruroni kenshin on my laptop. the wireless access doesn't work all that well there. darn! after all that excitement, i came home and crashed.
tomorrow's another day off...time to chill. hehehe..
