*sigh*

busy busy busy...i've been pretty busy with work, friends, agonizing over my dad's health, sleep, work, and more sleep. I finally have two days off in which i could do absolutely anything and absolutely nothing. it was fabulous! so friday morning, i went with my mom to costco after starting to laundry. i bought a bunch of food with my mom for sunday and for everyday use....i bought some more water since i go through more water bottles than anyone else in the family. soymilk and salami for my sis....and yummy greens for the father's day bbq that we're gonna have for my dad. Dad didn't want to go out, wait in line to be seated, and all that good stuff. i think because he is still feeling not quite up to speed to be going out. sooooo, i came up with the idea of a bbq for him. i knew he's been craving some bbq stuff but he's been too weak to do much more than eat whatever my mom prepares and drink ensure (my mom's been making him drink that stuff since he doesn't eat as much as he should.)

so i've been goofing off, cleaning up a lil bit, doing laundry, taking a nap, showered, made turtle walnut brownies, and a yummy salad. i got to see the babies again...as one of my uncles parked in our driveway for his youngest daughter's graduation at milpitas high. we were all pretty excited about it. tiffany and megan were sooo adorable! they were dressed in matching outfits and were holding hands as they walked down the street. they are almost three years old and are tooo cute!

then i set off to hang out with katrina. i brought the brownies and salad for her to eat and we sat there eating, with kenny finishing up the quesadilla he had for lunch, before deciding that she wanted this tv stand at walmart. in milpitas. :-| i just came from milpitas to south san jose. now i drove all of us back to milpitas (since my car is the only car big enough)and back to her place. damn. that tv stand is heavy!!!!! made my car feel all sluggish. but that thing was hard to push or carry to her apt. but we did it.

kenny and i proceeded to start assembling that thing together. we tried doing according the directions (i know, shocking that a guy would help me do it with the directions...most guys i know do not like looking at the directions!). man, i was good! i only made one mistake....but it wasn't that hard to fix. :-D hehe...so then we realized we needed a hammer for all those little nails. katrina called xman to come over with a hammer and another screwdriver. lol...it takes to asian peeps and a guatamalan to help put a tv stand together...then rich and gene came over in the course of building this thing. Eventually, we managed to put it together and it looks super nice! :-D so how many people was needed to build a tv stand? 6 people....2 to build the stand and four to supervise!!!! lol

we ended up playing some cards...uno, to be exact. it was pretty fun....we all won a round and it was first one with three wins. kenny ended up as the winner so we all went home around 2:30am.

tiring day...but i found out that i can assemble things just as well, if not better, than a guy. heheh....i'm pretty darn handy! now if only i'm good at putting things up on the wall!

so i woke up a few hours ago. i'm going to bake some more brownies and maybe some cookies for

pi6tails gfc bake sale in front of the milpitas library tomorrow. i'm demanding payment in hugs. i haven't quite figured out how much hugs per batch but i do know she owes me a lot of hugs. maybe i'll take one of her hugs for two hugs from claire......she's so cute! hehehe...

ant_in_my_pants has fun paintballing and definately comes to the bbq!!!! i hope

purelica goes too....it ain't fun if family ain't around! :-D
