jemzokay, in light of the bombings in London, I just want to say that I'm very glad that my loved ones and friends there are safe. I don't really think that the furor and hype is necessary despite it being a grave event. The Brits themselves are taking it in stride. I feel very bad for pointing out that the death toll is nothing compared to 9/11, Madrid's train attack on 3/11, the months long suicide bombings that have been occuring, the beheadings of INNOCENT people who are trying to make Iraq a better place to live in, and other such events.
I know I feel very desensitized to it. As long as I knew my friends were safe, my air of nonchalance took place. I've lived through 9/11, which had some of the biggest news coverage and hype, and utterly decimated me in the way that shattered my sense of comfort in living in a country where I thought was fairly safe. I refuse to live in fear of some terrorists. I know I'm being extremely blase about it but hell, I live in the United States which many other countries scorn for our President's war on Iraq and is now a primary target for many terrorist groups. The one to bring down to it's powerful knees.
My parents and family have survived the Vietnam War. We will survive through any terrorist attack and move on. I think that's the best way to defeat their way of thinking. To live and celebrate life for what it is.
So with that, I am going to spam with you pics. Random, I know....but hey! Something to look at, right?

My adorable godson, who's only 2 yrs old, wanted to see the sushi boats float by and plopped down in the seat, ready to eat those California rolls.
