on concerts and drama...

*bounces* Another day closer to vacation! :-D
on the Maroon 5 concert: i loved it. They were utterly fantastic in concert. It made me bounce in my seat and do a little groove, bop-y thing with my head as each song was played. Their opening bands were okay. I didn't like Simon Dawes as much as I liked The Thrills (who were pretty damn good. I think I might go and seekritly dl some songs). Maroon 5 is definately a great band to watch live since a lot of their music is mainstreamed into the Top40. They played a few completely new songs and a song from Oasis. <3!! I was hoping that they would do NIN's Closer but I have that on my nifty MP3 player....
on drama at a concert: There was a couple sitting in our section (up in the nosebleed seats....our seats were two up from this couple) and they were having a jolly rockin' time with the opening bands performances. The taller of the two was very enthusiastic and liked to jump up and down a lot. Unfortunately, her butt couldn't support her jeans. Thus, the jeans like to slip down to show the world the pink straps of a g-string and a bit beyond that. Okay, a LOT more than that. Anyways, there was a nice older couple who were sitting behind them and could not see, so they moved further down to the beginning of the row. As Maroon 5 came out onto the stage, the place filled up and people found their seats. the nice couple moved back to their seats as another two couples sat down in front of us. After a few minutes, the...um...enthusiastic, booty crack showing woman was asked quite politely to sit down by the ladies of the two couples (who were directly behind her and could not see) so that they could also see the show. The enthusiastic woman immediately became defensive and quickly became "The BITCHY" one. She began to curse and attack the two polite women and one of the women's bf. Her gf couldn't calm her down (and have been trying to calm her down all nite). I swear, the woman was ghetto to the hilt. Why do people take offense to being asked to sit down so that others can see? She was definately lacking in common courtesy despite having a very good point in her defense.
Needless to say, after a quick talk with her and the other parties involve, management kicked her out. 10 minutes later, they came back to ask her gf to come out and escort her home. I didn't know what to watch. The entertaining drama unfolding in front of my eyes or the concert. I was shocked over the amount of people who were pointing to the woman. But I did hear all the rude words spilling from her mouth and the people she was yelling at didn't really deserve that. All I can say is that it was an interesting night.
on more randomness: errr...i think i've spiraled into the depraved depths of crackfics now. Especially for PoT. When I have more time to sit and think, I promise to write something. A drabble or something. In either the Prince of Tennis, Naruto, or Harry Potter fandoms. I'll probably write it while I'm on the plane to London or something.....10 hours is a long time to sit on a plane. Hopefully, I can get something completed. I still have the beginnings of maybe 4 or 5 things and none completed.
Looking forward to dinner tonite with the cousins and Antz. I'm bringing ice cream and chocolate syrup for dessert! and my makeup kit, so we can play around with it. (I need to figure out what colors to bring to London). heheh...I've been feeling quite girly lately, so makeup is in tonite's activities.
*contented sigh* hope the boss stays away from work today. He hasn't shown up and he won't be here on Monday either! yippeeeee! less stress from that quarter. *puts away the steel bat*
*reminds self to buy Vienne Tang's album* Please remind me to buy this album! I keep hearing about it and am curious to hear. I've heard that she's quite good. I must buy after work......
back to coffee and leisurely work. *huggles*
