JOY! i can now add a new item to my current diet. saltine crackers!

yes! now i can ingest crackers without hurling my guts out!

i'm excited...this is the most food i was able to keep down! jello, rice porridge (bland), and now crackers! whOo hoO! besides water and pedialyte..i'm scared to try anything carbonate...(i want ginger ale!)...for fear that my tummy will reject it. so far it's only accepted water and pedialyte and my current ingestable food. i'm slowly making progress!

being this sick, i've never thought to appreciate food so much! i can't wait until my first bite of cheesecake, steak, salad, banh mi, popcorn, and other yummy food. being on this forced liquid diet has a plus side. i've lost weight! whoO hOo! there are just too many bad things to name about this diet...the major one being that i'm pretty darn ill (one i want to ignore but can't).

well...one step at a time. at least i'm at the "i'm sick with flu and can't eat nuttin' but crackers" stage. i just need to get to the "i'm sick with the flu, can i have some ginger ale?" stage before i can move on....
