jemzYAY! I was sooo stressed out and now I don’t have to be stressed out anymore! I was sooo stressed for the past week and a half, worrying about how the store looked and the visit from the VP of the company. I’ve been stressed out over parts of the store and finding places to put new clothes when they come in after I had finished re-doing the ENTIRE store. I was sooo tired and stressed, all the girls were supportive and they did an awesome job helping me get things done, esp. Milly….she rocked! She’s my visual buddy, my partner in crime…..and my “you did awesome, don’t stress” voice of reason. So the visit went really well yesterday. WHEEEEW!!!! I am glad it is over! My DM kept making me nervous yesterday, though….he was soo nervous himself, he kept making the rest of us nervous! I am just glad that the pressure is over…esp. the pressure by the DM to keep the store looking beautiful. I was sooo tired and stressed out that I am having some back pain….from holding all that stress inside. I should’ve went out and exercised or something but like I said before….i was exhausted! This was how exhausted I was…..i didn’t even want to SEE my boytoy. I was hoping that he wouldn’t call me like he said he would when he got home early from work…cuz I would’ve been dead asleep. Yup….amazing, huh….i was a tired chica.
I went out and partied with my cousins on Friday. It was at club Miami and I had a lot of fun. Met some new people and hung out with people I knew. We got all crazy and happy and it was cool! Gotta remind me to teach Zinger how to dance salsa and swing. He was just turning me every which way and I couldn’t keep up! After that, we went to go eat. We tried several different restaurants and each one was full until finally we got a table at a denny’s. there were some cool peeps sitting at the table and some stuck up snotty nose girls……I really wanted to give the girl I was sitting across the name of my dentist and the name of a good orthodontist to fix her teeth. But I guess in Vietnam, it’s considered cute. Whatever. Cuz I’m americanized…I think crooked teeth is ugly. I’m might be mean to say it but it’s true!!! And the gay guy next to him….sheesh….he got on my nerves after a while. Prolly because he was sooo flamboyant and he didn’t know how to shut up for more than thirty seconds. Talk about verbal diarrhea!!!
The next night, after work, I went to a house party with my cousin Trammie and her best friend Doner….yeah…it’s a nickname and sometimes I don’t know why Doner calls Trammie Stoner. I don’t know. It was a fun party. There were only 6 girls and 20-25 guys….the guys were hilarious in the fact that they would cheer everytime a girl would walk in and boo all the guys! Then they had that “buff guy” contest to see who was the buffest guy. Trammie, doner and I all laughed our butts off. It got so bad that some of us were holding our abs and crying tears of laughter. It was so much fun. The guys didn’t even let us leave for over half an hour. Trammie and I would stand there and laugh at their antics. Crazy, huh. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to hang out with all the guys and girls again on sat. at 1015 Folsom.
On Monday, I went to the first meeting for the mentoring program I joined. I was stressed and coming straight from work…LATE because I had to stay and do something really quickly and I was stressed over the fact that I was late. I don’t normally like to be late. I’m usually on time for meetings and so on. So I had homework. Yup. You heard the word….HOMEWORK. actually…it’s more like reading work…but I looked at it as hw. I did it when I came home from the mentoring program. I knew if I didn’t do that night, I wouldn’t have the time to do a good chunk of it. Except…I just realized that I didn’t have dance class tonite….it’s spring break for the class right now. D’OH. Absentminded little me. But I still have to go and do that fingerprinting stuff today to be able to give it to her tomorrow. I don’t wanna drive all the way down there for nothing…I need to be productive….like I have been for the past few days. But it’s cool…I want to be lazy soon. Been doing so darn much at work! I’ve been thinking about looking for a different job….gonna start applying soon. Too much bad stress here….and I don’t want to deal with stupid moms who can’t control their stupid screaming kids. Grrrr.
Courtney came up and we had dinner yesterday at Macaroni Grill. Yumm! Then we went to Border’s across the street and hung out there. Man, I missed hanging out at bookstores. I can read all the books I want without paying for them! I was reading the new book by one of my favorite authors called Talon of the Silver Hawk by Raymond E. Feist. I only got to page 271 before Borders closed. I’ll prolly go and finish it off tonite. I only have a hundred pages left to read. J just the rest of this day and tomorrow of work to go and the weekend I can party and relax…..Sis’s, doner’s and bro’s gf’s birthdays are within two days of each other….actually sis and doner’s is on easter (another family get together! WhoO hoOOO) and bro’s gf’s is two days later. Should be a fun and relaxing weekend.
I ordered dsl! Whoo hoo! Yay…no more waiting for slow a$$ dialup! I’m gonna go wireless. I want to be able to sit in my room, on my new laptop, and chat in bed and do some job hunting online without needing to be downstairs on the desktop. If my sis fixes her laptop, then I’ll prolly buy a wireless adapter for her….so she can use her laptop for school stuff rather the outdated desktop. (she keeps complaining about how slow it is and how unsophisticated it is when doing homework).

it's not 7:30pm....went to do that fingerprinting after work. it's kinda gross...with ink all over your fingers and stuff. but after that, i went back to borders to finish that book. can you believe i did the finger printing and finished that book in just an hour?! crazy cool, huh. :-) now i'm just sitting on mah bootie trying to surf the net and do some idiotic stuff.
