Sleepy and craving more Sushi
Mar. 28th, 2006 03:33 pmHAPPY BIRTHDAY
thermidor09!!!!!!!!! W000T. May hot boys dance about you and feed you yummy strawberries! *SNUGGLES*
So my weekend was fairly good. Had two birthday parties on Friday night. I mosied over to
seshat's party at Midori for some really yummy sushi. Then went over to Mae's birthday to take lots of pics and have a rockin' good time.
Saturday was busy! Woke up super early to pick up bestest's aunt, then up to SF to pick up bestest's baby sis, head over to the bridal shower in Roseville, then over to bestest's condo to check the place out, then back to home to drop off Auntie, then back up to pick up
vanae12 before heading out to Berkeley to see Michael Buble perform live. He was sooooo awesome to see live! He didn't cover Maroon 5's This Love this time but he did Johnny Cash instead. Then he did Michael Jackson as we all go crazy for him. The band did a great number without MB and it totally rocked. I'm pretty sure that I converted another to the awesome goodness that is Michael Buble. *\o/* Then afterwards, we headed out to SF to go to this tiny bar called Amnesia to jam to an African band. The music was interesting. I've never heard Tunisian music but it's fun to dance to. Then, because I was STARVING, we headed over to a taquaria and heard mariachi band play until the place closed. Afterwards, it was a long drive back home. Let me tell you, I was SO GLAD to be home and crash out. Man....way too much driving in one day!
Sunday I slept in and it felt good. Met up with Kuya, his gf, and the godson for some sushi and WoW. Kenchi came over and we played and generally had a great time. Although my godson cracks me up. I was in the living room just taking a break and watching kuya play (he hooked his computer to the HUGE 62 inch tv they have in the living room). He left to do something and the godkid was playing around with his father's character. On a whim, I said "Ethan, go make Daddy's rogue dance!" to which he went and found the right places to click to make his dad's character dance. It was hilarious because we've never taught him where the emote buttons were. Especially after his dad said "Make him cluck like a chicken!" (Ethan: "Okay!" *goes off and does it*). It's amazing how quick kids learn and pick things up.
Monday was the ultimate workout. PiYo, 24 Lift, and then teaching Waltz to a class of over 45 students. 45!!! x.X So now I am totally sore and sleepy but doing well! Now I'm back to the grind of the work week. And I'm thinking of watching either Bleach or Spiral tonight (if I can find my burnt dvds with the eps.) or Memoirs of a Geisha since I just bought it. ^_^ How are all of you?
