wow. another busy week for me. but at least last weekend was nice and peaceful.

i went shopping around santana row and got some books and supplies for my Japanese lessons. Also went out and got a christmas present for someone. Looked for a birthday present for bestest. it's pretty darn expensive but i know she'll adore it. :-D

hung out at borders some more with anthony. helped him look for some cookbooks. gonna make him cook twice a week. once by himself and again with me. i'm gonna try baking more. holidays are coming up and i need to figure what goodies to give away! hopefully, everyone will like what i bake!

so i picked up a friend who came in from new york city yesterday afternoon at the airport. after work, we all got a chance to hang out and man, it was hilarious. she was so nervous about her job interview today that we had to walk her through some things and calm her down. then we went over her outfit for the interview as well as her resume and some other stuff. hilarious times. i swear.

hopefully, i'll be able to spend time with another friend who flew in from France. i did promise to make cheesecake for him, after all, and he better make time for me to claim it! otherwise....i can't guarantee the next time i make cheesecake!

friday, i have a dance class field trip to starlite ballroom. gonna watch some of our fledgling dancers take a spin around the ballroom. :-D

sat. is off to davis/sacramento i go! gonna hang out with bestest and [livejournal.com profile] bebiteeny and other various family members! Hopefully, we'll have a blast. thoughts of more shopping, here i come!

and then sunday, after i come back from my excursion out of town, ANOTHER friend came up to the bay area to hang out, so i'm going to kick with him and some other friends.

wheww...i sound like a busy little bee. no time to work on that story that i've been working on. man. i've never written a story before and i need help. it seems to make itself even more complicated and i don't know how to inject the humor i want it to portray. *sigh* i have several scenes written out but they're disjointed. i just jotted them down so that i won't forget the details of it later on since i'm on the absentminded side. I still need to finish the first 1/2 before finishing the last 1/4 of it. bleh. i'm so disorganized and uninspired. i admire those who have the fortitude and imagination to put it all down in paper. my imagination likes to enact it and skip over the details and just play rather plopping it all down on paper or written word.

hmm...maybe all the rain we're having will inspire me. do you think it'll rain again next week?

i hope so...i loved the past few days with the cloudy weather, the sounds of mild thunder, the rain and the clean smell that's so soothing. i got a chance to light up some candles and drink a cup of warm tea. i was so relaxed! i slept better than i did in WEEKS. amazing, i tell you.

well...back to work i go. my dsl connection at home is all screwy. i think i'm going to change it to comcast and get cable along with the internet. screw this spotty dsl thing.

hope everyone is doing well!

yay! looks like the rainclouds are gathering up again and all the beautiful blue patches of sky are covered up.

"Let the rain fall
I'm coming clean."
~Hilary Duff's "Come Clean"

love that song. love the way the rain makes me feel this week.

i was thinking. yeah, i know. It's a bad habit but i couldn't help it.

I was remembering when i told my cousin that i had write in LJ and he went and took a look at it. then he came back and IM'd me, telling me that all my moods weren't really good ones. looking back, i realized he was right and that all the ones he told me thereafter were all happy or more cheerful ones. thought that was something interesting to tell you guys.

more brainless nonsense from me. *smile*

the fall always brings me such great peace. i mean, people love spring since it's a romantic time and it leads to the summer and the melting of the icy winter. But i love the fall. the warmth and the peacefulness of having contentment in life. the chance of snuggling under warm covers and drinking hot cocoa with a loved one in front of a cackling fireplace. i don't think spring is the time for lovers...i think it's more wintertime. i mean, i know too many people who's birthdays are in the fall. and not many born in the wintertime...or at least not nearly as much. c'mon. people stuck indoors because of the bad weather outside...nothing's more romantic than that, some hot cocoa, a fire in the fireplace and some nice jazz playing. THAT's why there are so many autumn babies running around and leeching my wallet dry.

*sticks tongue out*

besides all the birthdays and such, i love the fall because it leads into winter....and the holidays!!!! :-D

heh, i'm rambling again, aren't i? well...bored at work does that to me. :-P

i hope it rains after i get home from work!
