I thought i would update in the past two days but i got caught with stuff and didn't get to a computer in time to complain of the heat!!! :-D
I started up my dance classes again. I was totally excited. Now all that's left for me to do with the classes is to get dance shoes. My old high school offered us their brand-spanking new dance studio that's only a year old. Funny...when I came to look at the room, I accidentally blurted out "hey, wasn't this the Autoshop room?" to the coordinators. They laughed and said yes. How funny is that....but i'm so jealous of students now. I totally would've taken dance during my high school career. Instead, I was just a nerd.
Yesterday was just running errands and putting a fruit basket for a sick coworker. It was strange to think of life and death while putting a fruit basket together. I thought about how quickly life is taken away yet how long painful things and effects take to heal. How agonising it must be for those who have long-term illness yet how blessed they are to have more time whereas those who experience a quick death are unlucky in time yet gifted with very little pain. The ones I feel sympathy for are not only those who are ill but those who care for their ill loved ones. How trying times must be for them to go through every day. Yet, they get to spend it with a loved one. A chance to make new memories, no matter how painful they are.
*sigh* tis the way the world turns.
and now I'm at work...goofing off and waiting until noon, when fellow coworkers and I make our way to visit him.
and I thank the Lord that I am alive to feel.
