oh. my. god.

it's. so. damn. hot!!!!

i was pretty glad to be at work all day today....it meant not being in the 100 degree weather outside. even sitting in the shade during the company bbq was HOT.

I wonder if this heat wave is somehow linked to the hurricanes happening in Florida. must do research on that....

I was wondering about something totally offbeat on Saturday. I was watching my friend get a facial....microdermabrasion, in fact, and something Rita (my good friend who does all these wonderful services!) was doing with some gel and a metal thingy made me wonder aloud about something completely off the wall. What does skin sound like? I mean, the sound that came from the procedure was similar to a scanning noise.

seriously. what does it sound like when metal touches it? or what noises it creates with other textures and fabrics? can you measure it like how scientist measure the moanings of whales underwater? how would u create the sound visually to someone who's deaf?

strange, huh? i was completely fascinated by the myriad questions circling through my mind over this process.

sometimes, my thoughts reflect a strange child that i knew existed in the back of my mind. how fun. she's going to come out to play.

i think this heat is making my delirium even worse. i hate being in a house without AC in heat this bad. i think it's time for me to stand in frozen food section of my neighboring grocery store.
