a day of rest....or boredom
Dec. 9th, 2003 10:11 amsooo finally i get a chance to update. life has been hectic or i've just been to lazy to do anything.
Thanksgiving was good. Ate some really yummy turkey and stuffed myself on mashed taters and gravy and all the yummy vietMaNese food mom got. watched The Italian Job. bro and cuz's bf agreed that it was one cool movie....(they didn't believe me at the beginning) hehehe...
had to work the day after Thanksgiving and let me tell you. i was steamin' mad at the way the mall handled parking. i couldn't find parking for over 45 minutes! i just said screw it and found someone leaving and asked if i could park there. i had left home an hour and a half early *i wanted to check out all the sales!* and ended getting to work on time!
i am now almost done with xmas shopping. just have a few people left...including dad. i'm gonna make a ton of cookies for everyone else....since i don't have enough moola to buy presents. i finally put up the xmas tree yesterday. whew! now i got a place to put all those presents that i've bought since Halloween! my room was a little crowded with all the stuff!
got to hang out with my best friend this weekend. we had bought matching shirts from Hollister Co. and we went and took pictures! some of them turned out really well and others...well...they look cute too. we totally pampered ourselves on saturday. after trying to find each other in sf, we went to French Connection where i got a cute shirt saying "Too Busy to FCUK". i loved it! gotta get some of the other ones for people i know! *evil laugh* after leaving sf...we went to my esthetician. we got some work done...*winces* then it was to pick up some quick dinner at in n out and off to pictures! yay! after the pictures were all done, we grabbed some starbucks, went back to my place, found out the parents weren't home yet, and curled up with Down With Love.
next day, i had to go to work....for a stupid meeting!!! ended up being there for a lil while and went back to hang out with skilly. we watched the rest of pirates of caribbean, watched the special features, went to her mom's place to pick up food, kidnapped 6 for a walk around santana row, got Peet's and some chocolate, ended up at krung thai with extremely bad service *i was steamin' MAD*, dropped off 6, went to my house to pick up the rest of skilly's things, she went back to davis, i went to dinner with her parents and mine, ended up so completely stuffed and went to bed early.
i had a lot of fun hanging out with skilly since we don't get a chance to do it very often. esp. when we kidnapped 6! we need to do that more often. i miss the laughing and the giggling and the hanging out that we used to do in college but never do anymore since our work schedules are completely different!
*sigh* ah well. next time!
soooo today i'm going to make cookies, go get candy canes, get my prescription filled (yeah, my doc put me on more meds! grrrr!), and exchange something that broke two days after i bought it! that's what i'm doing today...besides being lazy.....
oh, and i would like to get everyone's address so i can send a xmas card. so if you want one, email it to me!
