I'm now brokenhearted.

I discovered over the weekend that my laptop is completely DEAD. A virus ate the O/S. So I lost all my pictures (esp. the London ones!!!), my icons, my fics, my mp3s (*CRIES*), my anime, and my music videos that I was in the processing of backing up (i.e. I just started to back it up and then it died).

So I have a HUGE, HUGE favor to ask of all of you.

I miss my mp3s and mpegs. So if any of you have music, can you please send it to me?



My taste in music are as follows:

Alternative: anything really. But especially Simple Plan, Matchbook Romance, Weezer, Phantom Planet, Interpol, The Used, The Afters, Train, Audioslave, Good Charlotte, Snow Patrol, Linkin Park, Oasis, Hoobastank, Something Corporate, Letters to Cleo, etc. etc.

Neo-soul: Jill Scott, Vivian Green, Heather Hadley, India.Arie and whoever else you want to send me

Drum and Bass/Jungle/Hard House/Speed Garage/Progressive House/Trip Hop

Pop

R&B

Rap: I tend to like Tupac and a few others with more of melodic line.....

Jazz: Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Rat Pack, Michael Buble, etc.

Jpop/Jrock: Glay, Gackt, Move, Ayumi Hamasaki, Hikaru Utada, and various others that I can't think of off the top of my head

Kpop: H.O.T., Finkle, SES, M.I.L.K., Tommy February

International: French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese ballads, etc.


I know I'm not being very specific but I had a really wide range of music, so any you wonderful people care to send me will be greatly appreciated!!!

yes...I like most Pop songs out there. I'm such a music fanatic.......so any Pop will do....esp. those with great beats that I shake the bum to.

I don't really have alot what you posted, but I do have the extensive mix of 80s! I don't even know where the hell I got all these.. I mean, I was looking yesterday and over 1200 songs.. over a sixth of that list was 80s music... I'm such a dork *facepalm* I can't stop listening to Pussycat Dolls "Don't cha".. That song will kill IQ brain cells :)

Okay.. going to figure this out.. only thing I can think of is to just send the list via email or maybe you could download through aim.. I used to have it set up that buddies could look at my list and double click to download a song.. its up to you :)

Oooh...finally I have found an Oasis fan who I can ask. I really like the song Wonderwall, and was looking for suggestions for other songs I can download, I mean, obtain through legal means *shifty eyes*. Any suggestions for songs I should listen to first?

BTW, you've got great taste in music. Have you seen "By the Sea" w/Kevin Spacey? It's about Bobby Darin, and I thought it was pretty well done. I loved the music in it. You may wanna check it out if you haven't already. :)
