I finally watched w-inds. newest PV, Love is the Greatest Thing (the theme song for the Japanese-dubbed version of Shrek 3 in which Keita is the voice actor for Prince Artie).

This PV has raised my tension. I love, love, love how they did the PV for this. I love the sound of it. I totally thought it would be more like Trial (which, for those who didn't know, is the theme song for the Japanese version of Goal!) but they proved me wrong and continued with the funkier style that was prevalent in Journey (their sixth album!) that I adore. It's all happy and energetic and omg, I am so in love with this song.

Things that make me happy today.

I am determined not to let things get to me this week. Determined.

So I am listing out things that make me happy about each day. And dressing mighty sharp for work. This may or may not include makeup. :D I don't usually wear any makeup to work but I have started wearing more and more eyeliner lately. Plus, my new glasses are pretty enough that I can see any shadow that I put on. And I have so much eye shadow.

I keep bumping into w-inds. playing all around me!

For those who are bored, this game was introduced to me by my kuya when

lady_gemma and I were over to visit my godson (aka Fishbot).

We both squeed when we realized that he was playing a game promoted by Vision Factory, w-inds.' management company, and made him buy the w-inds. cd within the game. :3 The game is called Vision Museum.

Here it is for all who want to play! It's an "escape room game" and is pretty fun. Here is the walkthrough, i.e. cheatsheet if you need it!

JOURNEY. OH W-INDS. HOW I LOVE YOU. One of the BEST albums ever. I am still grooving in my seat. *FLAILS*

I love the feel of this album. They all sound TERRIFIC and there is some funk and disco and latin beats and hip hop beats and omg, ryooooooooooooohei!!!!!!!keitA!!!Ryuuuuuichi!!!!

I was listening to Akanishi Jin's solo "Care" (that he penned) before Journey on my long drive up to bestest's place for a day of hanging out and doing wedding things. Got a lot of it done and am now just sleepy. Had a lot of fun and DAMN, bestest's younger sister's Nugget (a grocery food chain where she works) IS HUGE. And gas is 20cents cheaper here.

Also went to go look at model homes near her condo. Makes me want to a buy a home up here. And then I come to my senses and say "hey! 20 minutes from the freeway is not a good idea!" as well as "It's super hot here in the summer!".

Anyways, heading home tomorrow, will be more coherent in the morning, and will flail with anyone who calls me on the way home over w-inds.!!!!!

Dear Diary,

Well, you're more like a place for me to splurge and write silly things, aren't you? I'm sorry I haven't been writing lately. I think I've become a boring person. But now that I am trying not to procrastinate (for Lent), I have been thinking of something interesting to post in you.

Sometimes, Diary, I think you are just here for my amusement. I mean, I can hop over to other diaries and read and be touched by the diary owners. I can read about their days and those lovely entries that help me understand what makes them happy or sad or even flail in glee. And I am thankful. To the ones that let me into their lives just a little bit whether it's just to be a listening ear or an active participant in discussion (or in most cases, squee!)

And other times, Diary, I think you are here for me. To let me express myself in ways that I think I don't think I can in real life. Then again, I look at you and think, "why do i just babble so much in you?". After a short nanosecond, the lightbulb blinks on and I go "because I really am like that in real life! duh, jemz!"

But thanks, Diary, for being mine for the last 4 years. ♥

So I was watching dance clips while on the phone with Tabs late last night and I am much amused by the dancing styles of each member of the 3 Japanese Pop groups I follow. [pictures will follow whenever I get home.]

w-inds.
Style: breakdancing, hip hop, pop & locking

Ryohei - breakdancer, very technical and can support his weight on his hands on anything ~~including rocks and ladders~~.

Keita - dancer, knows a bit of breakdancing but not as much as Ryohei, also a professional flailer. (WIND MIIIIIIIIIIILL)

Ryuichi - breakdancer, not as much as Ryohei but his style of dancing is (to quote Tabris) "I R HARD ROCK"

Style: very little choreography in their performances since they normally play their guitars, simple, hip hop

Teppei - can shake his hips oh so adorably.

Wentz - fails to shake his hips adorably and just try shake 'em.

Style: hiphop, jazz, pop & locking

So the weekend was good. Really busy but good.

Went to Pasha's and had a lot of fun although the dinner bill nearly gave me a heart attack. Ah well....it was cool considering we also got a lesson in belly dancing and danced about like crazy people. XD

Saturday was fun. I watched the godson (aka FISHBOT to all you WoW people who know me or babybear for everyone else) play with the waterhose and generally bounce about for his 3rd birthday party. Ate a TON of meat, salad, and fruit. Mmmmmmm. Skirt steak, lemon chicken, and Korean BBQ!

He was having a blast and crashed out for a 4 hour nap, in which he revived and was bouncing off the walls. Again. XD

Sunday was Dead Dog for Fanime Con. Interesting but fun. I like the dogpile on the blankets and of course, the teasing of Rover Wil on his sleeping habits. Got some interesting information and will be back to do the Fashion Show next year as well as a few other possible modeling shows/photoshoots. It will be interesting to see how the planning of it will go.

I just got the rest of the w-inds. albums on mp3 and am listening to them right now. ^_^ So I am really groovin' in my seat while working. Amazing how my grumpy day just flew by and I felt so much better now than earlier in the day.
