How did this year pass by so fast?

I'm still a bit boggled by how quickly time passed me by and that it probably all meant that I was too darn busy to notice! I was telling a few friends that I felt that I didn't accomplish very much this year. So I decided to do a Year in Review and to remind myself that I did accomplish a lot!

I combined it with that meme (Take the first sentence (or two) from the first post of each month of 2008. That's your year in review.)


January
Entry: The parties last night were a LOT of fun! Got to see etoilenoir959 and maplesyrup and a few others.
Travel: Seattle
Accomplishments: Bday celebrations galore, high tea @ the Fairmont

February
Entry: BESTEST IS COMING!:D I thought I was only going to get afternoon tea with her (Tea at the Fairmont!) but she's staying with me all day!!!
Travel: New Orleans (Mardi Gras, Iso's bday)
Accomplishments: Announcing AN CAFE performing at Fanime. *__* Started up jweb Thursdays. Valentine's Day 24Hr Fic Challenge. Had amazing friends on my flist support me through a period of inadequacies. gosh, ILUall.

Entry: nothing is more upsetting to me than a family member telling me that i don't care enough. especially after i drop everything when they call and ask me to be there.
Travel: none
Accomplishments: White Day Remix Challenge. Pillows Concert

Entry: Konbonwa Today, jemz-chan has been very reflective.

Accomplishments: Seeing friends on the East Coast, Koyamamama's Senior Recital

Entry: Konbachiwa Jemz-chan is back from her trip to the East Coast
Travel: Los Angeles
Accomplishments: Organizing a meetup with friends! FANIME. FANIME!!! (there were 13,300 people at Fanime 08, which a good third attended my events. @__@ )

June
Entry: it's amazing how quickly i just want to be alone for a few nights. there is so much i need to do and i don't want to do any of it.
Travel: Santa Cruz
Accomplishments: Getting Kanjani8 tickets!

July
Entry: It's late and I just finished updating jesummary and a few other things. Things done in the past few days!
Travel: Japan - Tokyo, Kyoto, Fukui, Osaka
Accomplishments: Seeing more of Japan with MousaPi & Shabz and meeting up with ilanabean42, xellos_poo, alissa, snowqueenofhoth, darlita, moof, and so many others! <3 , slept in at a capsule hotel, saw w-inds., Kanjani8, & KAT-TUN in concert, did Fanime work (*___* YAKINIKU!!!), 4 famous temples in a single day. Pierced shabzilla's ear. JE Meetup organized with nihongofrancais

Entry: HELLO MINNA-SAN!!! A bit tipsy here!

Accomplishments: 2 weddings (1 of which I was a bridesmaid for), GLAY concert

Accomplishments: karberry's wedding (which I was the maid of honor), Halloween Party

Entry: After a rockin' Halloween party and a chance to relax from the madness that is work, I'm off to the Academy of Sciences to absorb some science!
Travel: Los Angeles
Accomplishments: I was a slacker this month. Went to the Academy of Sciences twice.

December
Entry: This seems so nice and fun!
Travel: none
Accomplishments: Holiday Wine Party/Fundraiser, je_holiday, Anime LA 5 planning, Project of d00m at work, working 77 hours in 7 days.
