the Olympics are amazing.

I've been glued to my TV lately, watching the Olympics in Beijing. It is amazing, ne? All these athletes reaching for their dream.

It's so inspirational to read their stories and watch their struggle for greatness. It makes me excited for their struggle to be the best.

But in watching their struggles, their victories , we also see their failures, their pain . It breaks my heart to watch but I feel like I've gain something in watching them. That no matter the disappointment in their performance, I think they must be so happy to make it to the Olympics . Representing your country with so much pride after 4 years of hard work and training and overcoming obstacles.

It makes me think that overcoming the struggles in my own life can be done with just as much determination.

I love the Olympics and the spirit it brings every two years. There's something so inspirational, so wondrous, so human about the Games that I just flail harder each time.

The struggle to become the best is something that's very admirable, ne?

Now, I am determined to do my very best too
